But on our little escapade to the beach this past summer (2020), the Korgo mentioned pelicans are mean birds, i have never seen proof of this, but they do look mean.

I love that the pouch on the pelican's throat starts sagging and wobbling once he's upset. Little qualities like that make a lot of anthro art really fun and satisfying.

seagulls hawking back hot dogs has been an all time awkward beach side sight. Pelicans just look uncomfortable whenever they eat anything alive.
