No more mini-games this Christmas. 🎅

Last month I spent most of my time redoing some of the buildings and scenery, including rooms planned in the script, and making changes to allow the characters to walk around freely.
The most urgent were the campus buildings. I ended up abandoning the modernish style for something more like a European university (or what I imagine it to look like).
This month, I started preparing the Christmas mini-games. I made the decorations, started writing the scripts, and modeled the clothes. I also improved the phone messaging system, which would be a mechanic used. Then, last Saturday, I woke up sick enough to take time off work for the last few days.
During this time I was able to conclude that mini-games at this point are not the best strategy. The intention is that next year I'll already be producing the cutscenes at industrial speed, so it's time to get the production line up and running.
During this month I'll be reworking the three demos, which are nothing more than excerpts from the main game, including the mechanics and improvements developed over all this time. The expectation is that it will be a quick job, but I'll probably find flaws to correct that may take some time.
I'll be back later this month to wish you a merry Christmas and, if all goes well, with some results.

Hi Archy, I'm much better, almost symptom-free, thanks for asking. The previous mini-games were important to refine the system, find and fix problems and make everything more solid for the main game, but now there really isn't much to improve in this regard, and the best strategy is to focus on S4H. I appreciate your advice along with your understanding for all the delay. I've been working all these years to create a stress-free system for producing cutscenes. Being able to work in an easy flow and deliver the updates in a much shorter time will be a win. These demos will be the main test in this direction, so wish me luck.

Hello, I hope you are feeling better? Don't worry about the Christmas mini game, it's not a very important thing. The main thing is that you progress at your own pace on the game or on other things. A European university is not bad too. I am sur you make this special with your style A word of advice: there's no need to set yourself a frightening pace for the coming year. Just do the best you can, one step at a time. Concentrate on the scenery or the first demo and then see how you progress. According to your message, you've already done quite a lot (especially if you look at the older posts, especially the video of the first demo). Take some time for yourself too :).
