if there is an event here, the game was stuck here: https://imgur.com/a/NaDyzMp Some other general observed bugs: Sometimes when starting a new game, some gates can be opened early, such as the one to the end game area, possibly because event flags have been triggered in earlier lives/runs. Maybe a flag should be set such that if you start a new game, the game resets all in game progress. The octopus attack animation, if triggered, will softlock the game. If the player gets a game over, the menu can sometimes overlap like so: https://i.imgur.com/RnUovsE.png when this happens, many in game menus seem to no longer function properly. For example, the weapons can sometimes max out in upgrades before actually having 6 upgrades put into them https://i.imgur.com/O3gDLzV.png A fatal crash can still occur when the player is using the assault rifle when running down a hallway and firing, most often with flying bugs. If I run into anything else notable, I'll bring them to attention.

I don't know if it's because of the implementation of the skill menu but the status screen seems non-responsive.

Oh.. it hasn't been implemented yet. The brainwashing option is trying to renew logic before adding jellyfish.

is the operators octopus animation implemented? Cant seem to trigger it

An octopus monster brainwashing attack during gameplay isn't working at all. Also, if you are attacked by another monster during an octopus brainwashing attack, the game will stop progressing with a strong brainwashing.
