5 Crushes FX (Short Clip)
🕑 Added 2020-11-09 20:49:27 +0000 UTCTried to make some improvements over my first FX test... Here are some notes on my progress this time:
-A better introduction for Cherry.
-5 high heel stomps
-"Mistaken for Bugs" concept.
-No real story, but there are a few lines of improvised dialogue from Cherry!
-Noisy footage from first shoot is still being used. This will improve over time.
-Alternating POV and 3rd person angles this time.
-Micro characters are better rendered with more colors, but might still be hard to see on phones or small displays.
-Used a more "realistic" audio track style. Less intense, more realistic sounds to match camera angle.
-60p. Stomp scenes go quickly in real time. (If you're able, it's worth a watch setting your video player to half-speed for true slow motion!)
-A couple moments blending extreme slo-mo added here and there in POV.
-No camera shake due to distant angle... seemed more appropriate?
Next, I'm hoping to introduce another model before the end of the month...

Most of that kind of thing will take some time. The first thing like a "story" with Cherry will be unaware and similar to this kind of clip, just a good bit longer, with several scenes that fit together and make more sense. It should also have better FX as I improve. Most stuff will be action-focused from the first batch of filming.
