You only need dna of the dead person and a living sacrifice to reanimate anyone, as you see he had nagato's corpse too... but the actual body was with Konan....

I think I assumed it was the first hokage since that was his rival and he was so shocked. Also Hidan would be dead at this point. The reason he was immortal was because he was making sacrifices to Jashin. Without doing that he loses his immortality so he's dead. Also he would still need to eat lol.

When I first saw the last coffin, I felt that it was someone Madara knew very well because of the shocked expression he showed. So I had a feeling it was Hashirama/First Hokage.

I guess a good theory would be Izuna? Madara's brother. I think I remember someone speculating that it was Danzo back when this was coming out in the manga lol

When I first saw this episode, I thought that one of the dead kage was lying inside the last coffin. This ep was so hype, even now it feels like... idk, maybe like WHAT KABUTO ALIVE? HE TRANSFORMED INTO OROCHIMARU? HE MASTERED REANIMATION JUTSU??? HE FORCED MADARA TO ACCEPT HIMSELF IN HIS FORCES WITH THE HELP OF AN UNREAL CHARACTER, WHAT IS THIS TRUMP CARD UNDER THE SLEEVES?
