KineFX 101 – Pt.8: Character Animation Using Motionclips

This won’t be your standard deep dive, as with skeletons or constraints, because there’s not that much to say about them. On one hand because they are doing the tasks they were built for extremely well and intuitively. On the other hand because there aren’t alot of uses for them beyond that. More on that in this video.

Hey! Chris chiming in here: This episode uses FBX Files, which sometimes can cause issues with KineFX. We've adressed these issues and all our known solutions in Episode 31 of this course. If something in your setup isn't behaving as shown in the video and the error persists if you load the scenefile, give Ep31 a watch!

Hi, i was looking at project file and in "Intro Animation" there is a motion clip with stabilized swing animation and it breaks motion clip sequence, animation stops right after stabilized animation. With non-stabilized motion clip sequence works fine. Can't get it work. EDIT: I got it working in episode #10 :)
