🕑 Added 2022-04-21 22:09:10 +0000 UTCNow that the vector visualizer component is finished, let’s use it to create a vector addition setup. This teaches you how to work with custom components and at the same time gives you a intuitive understanding of how vector addition works.

Hello, Manuel! Great lessons, thank you for that. I have a question related to the instanced node groups: why did not the 'red' material appear in both instances of the 'ENT_VectorViz' node group as soon as you added it in one of the instances of the node group?

Thank you. I am looking forward to learning with you.

Hi Daniel. Yes regularly.

Hello, just wondering as im new here, are you posting new episodes reguralry?
Entagma
Yes this is possible. One way is to just give the node tree a name and save it to a blend file. Then you can append just the node tree to a new file. Since Blender 3.2 Alpha this is even more comfortable as you can mark a nodetree to be an asset. Then it shows up in the new asset browser.

Really enjoying this. Thanks for your work. Is it possible to save our node in a way that it can be used in another Blend file?

Nice episode... Wish I had Blender in my Math class for understanding vector :D
