As the longest video I've yet made apart from the compilations, Deep Jungle seemed to do its level best to make every step as difficult as possible. 4 bosses, one of which is probably the steepest difficulty spike in the game, far too many puppies, and a DEEP research rabbit hole that lead the intro ALONE to be 7 minutes long. Sit back, grab your favorite snack, it's gonna be a big video.

Fantastic work on Deep Jungle! The beginning of explaining the state of Disney's Tarzan was super informative and I think will go over amazingly for the full release. Cool thing I just learned, you actually can do the experiment in Deep Jungle twice depending on how you get the recipe cards. If you only get Research Notes 1 and 2, you'll get the standard Potion for Ether experiment. If you then pick up Research Note 3, you can do the experiment again and get the two Ethers for one Potion. So far as I have seen, you can't ever do the experiment again, so finding a weird way to do it twice was cool!

The funniest thing is they can never seem to decide on if Sabor is a male or female. The name is a female antagonist from Tarzan, but they occasionally use he/him for Sabor. More likely Sabor was ungendered in Japan, since gender is a rare thing to come up. I always view Sabor as female, given the name. (Just a Fun Fact.) Also, I'm pretty sure Shop Guy is a twin at this point. Wouldn't be the oddest thing. And the fountain portraits, I think, are meant to represent the seasons. Marine life for summer, the butterfly and flower for spring, the bare trees for winter and the default red and flowers for autumn!

Another great addition to the series. Really enjoying it all so far! Love the little detail of reversing the thrusters on the Highwind so that it looks like it is flying in reverse.

I agree about Clayton being a party member, I also thought something similar should have been done if Sora ever met Gaston.

The Kunai on the Ballade might be in reference to Larxene as Chain of Memories was likely in development when Final Mix was released in Japan. But I have no actual proof of that.

Opposite Armor looks fine but all Deep Jungle ones were affected, it looked like an effect issue

I think somethings wrong with the stained glass panels, they shine for too long and you don't quite see what's on it The video is looking great so far though ππΌ

I've been waiting for this one. I got lost during this level 20 years ago and ended up quitting when I first played KH1 and it has haunted me since. This series inspired me to start playing through the whole series and am about to finish RE:CoM. Excited to see how this level is suppossed to be handled!
