Naw Zuko chose the fire nation, he still has an internal struggle at this point ❤️
Volume
Dumb take lol, her family is responsible for genocide and she's continuing that exact legacy. Doesn't matter if she's a child, she's on the same bull and deserves to go down. You think she's going to grow up and not get worse? TF?
Adrian Timberlake
mans said he gonna shave his head for book 3 #NoSpolers
KeyWii
Realistically I think Rose and Jack felt that they didn’t have enough time to figure out a way for both of them to fit on the door though it’s been proven possible.
Sebastrian Velarde
search it up i originally thought the same
Sebastrian Velarde
for the people that are saying its unclear jet did actually die nickelodeon just could not show it due to a police but if you search it up you can see but I also originally thought he survived and was just badly injured but na rip to jet man
Jalan
Oh yeah ummm.. I got news for you man😬
Chad Valencia
I remember the time in between seasons 2 and 3 when it first aired when we were all feeling disappointed in Zuko and mad as fuck at Azula. I've rewatched this series more times than I can count, but I wish I was watching it with fresh eyes again. This is why I love watching reactions.
FrisbeeDude42
He might have died, it was very unclear….
Crispin
I loved that line lol was as badass as it gets , still an ice queen 😆
Douglas Mitchum
I agree I was in first grade at the time of this and I was struggling to wait till book 3
Jon Jingle
Its a dog eat dog world even in the royal family of the firenation when your expected to be the best. I get why she had to scheme and manipulate but she chose her path still. Shes crazy and she needs to go down
RJ Waymon
Nah you gotta give them time. I grew up watching Avatar hating Azula with a passion. I didn’t understand how truly tragic her story was until I was an adult.
RJ Waymon
Nope.
RJ Waymon
You can hate Azula all you want but that line was crazyyy haha
Jalan
Sorry y’all. Jet’s gone 🤷🏽♂️😢😂
Jyn Jilly
@jaredlang I watched it as a teenager and I didn't hate Azula. This isn't really a show that got me worked up at any character. I do feel like she's like this because of her father so the rants against her aren't that funny to me. But if they don't care about that then I get it. That's just me. I'm not like clutching my pearls at jokes lol
Crispin
So was zuko, being fire nation doesnt make you inherently evil, your choices do, yes she was born into a militarian life, the difference though is most of the fire nation are forced too live the way they do by there dictators with azula though from young age she relished in thought of her own brothers demise, and would constantly torture him, and her ability to minipulate is second too none., I get what your saying though dude, most of the fire nation were born into this life and had no choice very true. But NOT with azula lmao she doesn't play the game too win, she plays because she enjoys playing 😆

- I know that this is their first time watching the show. - I know the format of these videos. - No, I didn't feel this level of extreme vitriol towards Azula when I first watched the show, nor would I generalize the entire fandom's reaction to her one way or the other. - They're free to respond how they like to the show, but part of the appeal – for me and for many of the people here, judging by some of the other comments – of the way they respond to media is that they react wonderfully viscerally while also noting the deeper layers of the work and the motivations of the characters. They're able to both react and also to reflect in real time. That's not an easy balancing act, but they pull it off entertainingly and insightfully. They've had an excellent read on Zuko, for instance. I just think it's unfortunate that Azula is receiving so much more of the visceral side and less of the thoughtful side. I’m not being a scold or telling them how to do their thing. I’m expressing my hope that their approach to her balances out more in season three – otherwise, I worry they’ll miss out on the powerful impact of her character’s story in those upcoming episodes. - To be clear: I’m not looking for an argument. I wanted to clarify why I initially commented. I still very much enjoy these videos, or I wouldn't be here supporting them.
Jared Lang
You guys this is just their 1st time watching the show and their intial reaction. This is not an analysis or video essay about Azula's behavior and turmoil. You know good and well after our 1st watch we all felt the same way about Azula in these episodes. Just chill and let them react the way they want to react and after time they will reflect more
Jyn Jilly
I don't think the guys want to watch shows with this kind of nuance. Which is fine I mean I get that it's part of their style of commentary to be fairly simplistic. And I'm just being honest it does feel a bit over the top to see them hate a 14 year old character this much. Especially when they showed she's been groomed and favored by an evil parent. All the talk of torturing her and stuff hasn't been funny to me but maybe that's just me. Still enjoy their videos tho.
Jyn Jilly
Me too. The moment when Katara hugs Zuko the fangirls went nuts haha I think that's the trailer for part 2 tho
Jesse S
Not really bro at the end of the day she’s a child soldier. Never had a chance of being anything but that
Mehdi R.
Nah that bitch needs to get thrown off a cliff
Terry Jackson
Aang with the guru is one of my favorite moments of the entire series. I remember as a kid really opening up to the idea of different spirituality for the first time and I still practice meditation on the chakras til this day.
Crispin
"Don't flatter yourself, you weren't even a player" how you gonna be Fire nation but at the same be the coldest ice queen bitch 😆
Jeremy Hyora
Y’all went through all the stages of grief with Zukos decision in the finale
Jesse S
Y’all need to chill on Azula you gotta consider she’s been manipulated by her psycho father since she was young
Jesse S
Thank you for saying this. A lot of people overlook this because the show doesn’t spoon feed this it’s more subtle
Jesse S
Just letting you guys know when katara says in the opening narration that the avatar disappears, she is referring to Aang, not Roku
KC
Great reactions fellas ✊🏾, super thoughtful and entertaining…y’all get “it”. By the way: Jet did die, unfortunately.
Jens B
Its really unclear.
Jens B
I remember watching the reaction to the book 3 trailer from NYCC all the time, the hype in that room is intense.
Sebastrian Velarde
its not a spoiler either you wont see him any more rip to jet
Sebastrian Velarde
jet actually dies from his injurys
Lynn
Azula is an actual sociopath. Zuko is confused. Y'all are fools 🤣
Dothre
To answer their question? Waiting between Book 2 and 3? SUCKKKKKED. It was over a year! You bet we were using the Satellite episode information button to see if it was the new one.
Nunya Business
Anybody else find themselves saying, "Calm down, they're just cartoon characters"🤣🤣🤣.
Christian Carpenter
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 crazy reaction
RJ Waymon
I wish more people understood this. She was molded by her Father since birth to be an absolute psycho void of empathy. Of course she is not completely innocent but shes not completely evil either.
RJ Waymon
Book 3 gets straight to the damn point. Not a single moment wasted throughout the whole season.
RJ Waymon
I’ve never seen someone hate Azula so much lmao. You guys have to remember she’s just a child competing for her Dad’s love. Just like Zuko.
Jyn Jilly
Does anybody remember the official trailer to Season 3? That was so hype I used to watch that all the time back in the day. "I will never turn my back on people who need me" *cue the epic Avatar theme. Such a fantastic trailer. I was thinking it'd be cool if they watched it but it's probably better for reaction videos that they don't see anything Also the first teaser to Korra book 2 was incredible, I still listen to that music.
Niknok Seyer
Can’t wait for you guys to watch Book 3!
Jeremy Hyora
“Zuko is shining right now” 😭
Jim D
Y'all are right. Y'all best prepare y'all selves for book 3. You think book 2 was crazy? From the JUMP, book 3 is an emotional rollercoaster. All the way to the end. Get hype 💧🌏🔥💨

As much as I enjoy watching you guys, and although I realize this was recorded some time ago, I feel I need to gently note again: Azula is cold, calculating, manipulative, vicious, cruel… and also canonically only fourteen years old. She's little more than a child. Does that excuse her actions? Absolutely not. She’s done evil things, she’s not shown any regret, and she needs to be stopped. And we know she was vile even when she was younger. But just remember who she had as a father. If Zuko had been born with the superior talent and shaped under his father's influence rather than his mother's, who's to say he wouldn't have turned out just as bad as Azula, or worse? And if Azula had received less of her father's attention and more of her mother’s, perhaps some tiny spark of decency in her could have been nurtured into something stronger and brighter. It’s easy and satisfying to dismiss her as simply being pure evil, but I think there’s room for a more nuanced view of her character, and perhaps the tiniest bit of empathy. There’s an element of tragedy in her being as warped as she is so early in life.
Kasen Rogers
The last two episodes of Book 2 are basically the Avatar equivalent of Empire Strikes Back.
Terry Jackson
Book 3 is....fire I'll leave.
Marcus Haynes
Before I even start watching they bout to have a BAD TIME with the finale lmao. Knowing how they feel about Azula, this bout to be HILARIOUS 🤣🤣
Jeremy Hyora
LETSGOOOO
Jeremy Hyora
Me too I felt like a crackhead refreshing wtf is wrong with me
Crispin
Hell too the yes, been checking every hour today for this 😆
jasminebrklyn

Mel8235
Was not expecting this until tomorrow. X-men, The Clone Wars, TMNT, and now Avatar. I really spent my entire Saturday with these guys.
