Haven't watched it yet but I will say that is often the sign of a bad director also. A good director can bring out a slightly better performance whether on the set or with the editor. A GREAT director can make bad acting and even bad actors look great. Not that I'm referring to these young people. Just adding my 2 cents.

I cried during the fight with Monk Gyatso. The live action hurt even more than the original when they showed that his death in the temple was in an attempt to save the children.

Voice acting and regular acting are totally different things. I didn't have a problem with her voice, I had a problem with her facial expressions. She did a bad job with showing emotion.

I only had problems with the actress playing katara, and she's 17. I've seen better performances from actors way younger than her, some of which actually got Oscar nominations. I don't think age matters.

I’m on episode 3 and it’s good, definitely feels like a whole new show which makes sense. Certain parts do feel a bit rushed. My only issue was in the beginning it seemed like Aang was flying, but I guess he was just using the wind to glide. You guys should definitely watch Legend of Korra when you’re done with book 3 tho.
