Hey before watching the 3rd movie, you should watch the Clone Wars Vintage 2D microseries . Its just 2 episodes about an hour each and the last part happens right before the movies. It was made before Ashoka existed and a few things contradict the modern clone wars, but I consider everything in it that doesnt contradict, as cannonical.

Yes, let’s just forget about the fact that the Techno Union in the 2D Clone Wars series experimented on a primitive species by turning its males into cybernetic killing machines. I know that’s pre-Disney canon, but the point is that the Techno Union and the rest of the Separatist leadership are actual bad guys.

The last 4 episodes graphics is just....IMMACULENT x100. It's basically live action. Treat the last 4 episodes like 1 INCREDIBLE movie. Cuz it actually was for me at my theatre

There are some things that are referenced in Bad Batch that they wouldn't fully appreciate unless they'd already seen Rebels. Since their journey is about being able to fully appreciate when something or someone is referenced I think it's best they stick to their original route of TCW > Rebels > Ahsoka. Then they can come back and appreciate the newer animated series that have incorporated elements from those earlier shows.

Something I hate is the fact that for as nefarious as the Techno Union is they left the natives alone and coexisted in peace, until the Republic brought war to them Who's to say Wat Tambor won't send more of their forces to exterminate them once the Bad Batch left? Here we go with the "Bad Batch" arc. Another one of my favorite story-arcs from this show. We're definitely in the endgame now. Up next: the "Revenge of the Sith" movie, followed by the EPIC finale of this show, and then it's onto "Rebels".

Real quick, you guys were mixing up Echo and Fives. It was Fives that knew about Palpatine. Echo got taken out during the Citadel arc back in Season 3. But yeah man, I followed this from the beginning. Saw the movie in theater and then watched every episode as they aired. And yeah, after Disney bought Star Wars they cancelled The Clone Wars with season 5. Having it end on Ahsoka leaving the Order was such a heartbreaking moment. But then a few months later they announced that Netflix came in to foot the bill to do another season of episodes they had in production when the show was cancelled. That was Season 6 aka The Lost Missions and THAT we thought was the end for good because after that Dave Filoni moved on to Rebels. But thankfully when Disney was throwing D+ money around Dave was able to get one last season going SIX YEARS later but we finally got a proper end to the series. And I just wanna say it's been a blast revisiting it with y'all! Oh and one last thing, I don't know if you've already filmed your Revenge of the Sith reaction yet. BUT IF NOT, let me HIGHLY recommend you check out "Full Battle of Coruscant" on Youtube. It's the last arc of the 2D Clone Wars micro-series and it leads DIRECTLY into Revenge of the Sith. It is pure HYPE!

You have the wrong clone in mind. It was Fives who was killed after learning the truth about the control chips, not Echo. Echo was caught in an explosion of a shuttle while trying to escape the Citadel after rescuing Tarken and the Jedi Piell.
