Though at the same time, would apologizing, even if sincere, have helped? Would she even believe them? Would that absolve them of doing it? We’ll never know, but it’s interesting to consider the possibilities and layers of what happened and shaped who and what Sofia now is. Makes me think of that Sting song from the last episode of Arcane.

Very good point! Makes you wonder if they ever really cared for her in the first place or felt pity because her mother died when she (Sophia) was young
