I'm excited for the release of 0.0.9 today! I was wondering. I haven't seen any animated scenes in the game and I'm at the end of 0.0.8, are there any or, is it just for the $20 tier?

Sound features during the scenes where Melody sings or plays an instrument, which is from Week 5 onwards. We'll have a bit more detail on this when Version 9 is released this coming Saturday

I've been thoroughly enjoying the game so far. It's always a bit disappointing when you hit the end of the current release, but there aren't any games that make me want to support developers enough to donate - until now at least. Looking forward to the next update and, I hope, a satisfying end - whenever it comes.

Hey Prometheus. Everything you said is on point, and you’re right in the styles of music that Melody has used in the game so far. However, that’s just the tip of the iceberg! She can play electric guitar even though she prefers acoustic, we just haven’t had any songs used in the game that show that so far. But she will.

Well Melody prefers acoustic guitar, not electric. The sound is very different, and from the songs she has played in game ... I don’t remember a single one that I would classify as rock and roll. More like folk, jazz, blues or country. I don’t think the image matches her musical inclinations at all. She is definitely not in the same league as Joan Jett, Pat Benatar or Chrissie Hynde . . . yet. 😄Just my honest opinion.
