Payment Declined Problem
🕑 Added 2018-08-02 23:20:55 +0000 UTC Hi guys,I’m posting this up to let you know that Patreon have screw things up with their new payment system (as usual, they didn’t even pre-advise this change to anyone beforehand!).
There have been many declined payments in the past 48 hours for this month’s pledge, and this apparently is due to a change in their banking system. Unfortunately, a lot of you have had your payment declined and in some cases, flagged as fraud.

This is happening to all devs and creators, so it’s really important to update your payment info, if your payment was declined.
There are many ways to do this. In some cases, you'll have to contact your bank to let them know that Patreon is a trustable company and they'll approve your payment. Patreon have posted an article regarding this and you can read it here:

I know it shouldn't be our responsibility to deal with this situation and to inform you about these issues. That's Patreon's job. That's why they charge us all a fee. However, your support means a lot to us and without it, we can’t continue developing our games. That's why I'm asking you to update your info if your payment got declined.
It’s sad to see Patreon’s incompetence reaching new levels, especially with what has already happened over the last twelve months. But it is what it is...

Mine was successfully extracted from the bowels of my account yesterday... funny how when some magic happens and the numbers from my account drops unexpectedly, creative people get their vibe on! Take all my money ! =)))) fuck.. I still have to live... oh well it's the least I can offer you guys for such a masterpiece... Rock on! the game in really interesting and kudos for the story. PayPal seemed to have worked. Mind if you check if mines has gone through? PayPal took money out of my account for PATREON.

I also use Pay Pal no problem, it went through. Way to go Patreon, they need to get their S@#t together before they kill off all the creators...seriously!!!!!!!

PayPal must have been unaffected: I did the receipt from Patreon and PayPal also notified me of the charge. Also the billing history shows all as „complete“.

Mine seems to have gone through as well, there was no email from Patreon telling me otherwise and its out of my bank account so it better be! lol. My pledges say complete btw :D

My PayPal transaction went through fine. It may just be bank cards that have this issue.

Yeah, mine was declining as well, and had no idea what was going on. Fortunately, they have got this fixed for me and things went through. Thanks for posting this!

Mine was originally declined, but it looks like it went through about 2 hours ago without me having to update my payment information or do anything. Hopefully, they get it straightened out for everyone alacritously.
