The reality is, that we could've created over 50 different endings with the size of this cast and done the existing endings on several different ways as well. We'd already spent two months working on this release and to be honest, it's been exhausting. To do a complete re-write of that scene would take a lot more time than most realise and to us it doesn't fit with the plot or the ideas for each love interest for them to suddenly all return to working at the hotel. Dating all those girls at the same time isn't realistic, nor would it make sense, hence why we went with the two alternate endings we chose to go with. Sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy this ending, not everyone will. But we do appreciate the feedback and hope you got something out of SL that you did enjoy.

Greetings. I am quite disappointed, from the ending of this story. The choice to make many finals with only a girl, or at most with the participation of the girlfriend, has disappointed me a lot. Allow me to suggest a re-writing, and take a different choice ... What do you say, to return the MC to the hotel definitively, resume all the relationships simultaneously, making sure that, the initial staff, return together again (Including Yuki). Maybe, making sure that Nicole also joins the group. You could also keep the script as it is, simply by adding this option.

The only thing I can think of is before you start the Ashley scene, make sure the heart in her character profile is set to On (Red). Then play through the scene and check if it unlocks. Let me know how you go.

Ok, odd chapter one question for SL. I have unlocked everything but scene 10 (after yuki shopping) I've gone back and forth with the choices, and I'm lost. I think it should be Ash by herself at the store, but I've done that multiple times.

Damn. I played the 0.05.1 demo, loved it, so I became a $20 Patron on Sept 11. Sadly though, I get " SunshineLoveCH1.exe Has Stopped Working " after launching it on my Laptop. The past 4 days, I been searching for ways to get it to work but it won't ( Program Compatibility Troubleshooter just says that SunshineLoveCH1 is a Incompatible Program ). I'm not giving up though ( I really want to play it and I will find a way!!! ). Sunshine Love 0.05.1/CH2 works fine though ( I was hoping Ch2 will have Ch1 in it ). I have only experience this problem with 2 other AVN so far. I'll come back to this post after I get it to work (Edited) Sept 20. CH1 finally works, Thanks to help by MrDots Games, they contacted me and after trading couple email msg and gathering my problem/info, they solved the problem. I'm truly Grateful and am Glad that I became a Patron of MrDots Games. I'm looking forward to their future works/releases

Hey there shengyuan lu. Apologies for the late reply. Thanks for the kind words. The Melody story is completely original, and her character or "look" wasn't based on any person specifically. As the writer of the story, some of Melody's interests, favourite artists and the music references used in the game were based on my own likes and experiences. And a little known fact - due to having to take down our first VN from Patreon, Melody wasn't planned, there was no discussion at all about a second VN before we started making it. In five short weeks, we had our characters, the general idea for the story/game, and what the two main characters would be to each other, plus our first release (longer than a normal demo version). With SL, we'd been planning it out for a good six months before it's first release by comparison. I've passed on your second question to MrDots and hopefully he'll respond to you about this shortly.

Glad you liked it CG. We put as much into that game as we could muster. I'd used some of my own experiences and my love for certain artists in plenty of scenes. We really were not expecting it to be as popular or successful as it turned out to be but it's a VN that we're still very proud of and as much as I would like to write more scenes for Melody, I don't think I could do the existing game justice with a follow-up. Where the MC and Melody end up in the future is really up to the player. The story I envisioned when we started is very much like this film called "Nowhere Man", where it's based on the life of John Lennon BEFORE he leaves home to go on tour around Europe/UK with The Beatles. So like with Melody, it's showing her life and how she goes from being a simple music student to a singer-songwriting pop star.

I know your heavily into the running of the current avn but have you ever considered doing a cafe/restaurant story too.. your narrative style from both Melody and SL would def work and theres a few mini game stuff you could add there too like remembering food orders and serving what was requested via pictures of food that you have to click.. You probably already have the next venture planned out but thought id share that.. alternativly you would have the right mind set and shared universe with your characters to pop up in for a hollywood movie star (or uprising star/starlette) story.. similar to Melody but allowing you to explore the ups and downs and areas of the business that can make or break the characters, from early commercial work to filming a blockbuster, walk of fame enrollment etc

Thats great to hear, i realise that from a story point theres obviously going to come a pinnacle moment be it the mc's marriage to his choosen love (i'd love to see tht happen in their hotel if it does, maybe even beginning of his own family with said love interest, However it would be interesting also to follow the tale beyond the typical epilogue ending most avn's finish up with to see how hotel running and life continues after all of that, I'm really looking forward to seeing what things get added as i progress (currently only at the 'open relationship Hype call decision point' so i'm still working my way through) the little mini games are a nice touch and i cant wait to see how the other hinted at elements like volleyball, surfing etc play out.. it feels like there could even be somewhat of a manager mode feature possible even after the hotel gets its 5th star.. day to day running, resupply, guest managment system etc.. closest eg. i can think of is how BADik handled the Frat repair menu system and job allocation.. it might even open you up for post ending playability.. keep on with the great work its truly a pleasure to play through this title

Hey Crowangel Gaming. Thanks for the kind feedback and constructive criticism. We'll see what we can do about the "lip pursing" issue while we're doing our revision of SL. He does sulk a bit during the first week but only because his childhood friend lied to him to get him to come down to Sunshine Bay, and he thinks it will be a wasted trip. Plus he's still reeling from not getting the promotion at the law firm so his attitude isn't the best when he arrives in SB, understandably. There's a Marriot hotel that I stayed at when I was 10/11 years old with my family and I've taken my own family there the past couple of summers and it's really run down and is nowhere near as busy as I remember it being. Going there has given me numerous ideas that I've put into the scenes I've written and as you said, it's still a pretty unique niche where you can get whoever you want involved to help run a place such as a hotel (various jobs that can be delegated or offered). We still feel like we have plenty of stories to tell and situations for the MC can get into (or out of, haha). We're only just warming up! ;)

love the games and i'm currently working my way through summer.. my ONLY pet peeve is the lip pursing on the mc lol often it just feel like he is sulking all the time making me want to yell at him to stop being a sulky brat.. other than that i LOVE the hotel managment side of the game and i hope this continues to expand and grow as the game goes on as i've never seen a avn choose this route and its truly a unique niche that you can make your own and continue to grow and expand upon poviding you dont plan an immediate end point.. Like some of the college games this has a mechanic in place tht could provide endless hours of fun aside from the story if you choose to endulge in it.. Great work and looking forward to seeing the future of this story

Hey Paul, That's an error on our part. It's not possible to win the bikini round and that detail from Day 32 will be deleted from the WT. Our apologies for this. It's also not possible for Dee to win the competition overall (it will be explained in further detail as to why in Chapter 4). We didn't mention this in the WT because we didn't want to give away the outcome before anyone got to that final announcement scene in the update.

I had a question about "the other game", In the walkthrough it said if I picked "D's" choice I would win the bikini contest later, but that didn't happen and for some reason "D" got second place. Is there a choice that makes her not win the bikini contest that the walkthrough didn't mention? Is it working as intended getting second place or is there a way to win it? Overall is it possible to win the overall contest in general because I seem to keep getting second place overall even following the walkthrough perfectly.
