🕑 Added 2021-04-19 15:15:10 +0000 UTCLast month I released the Hunting Grounds expansion for Leaderboard and did not get immediately overwhelmed by a tidal wave of bug reports, which I'm still kind of amazed at. That's some complex code with a lot of stuff happening all at once, and I'm very glad to hear nobody's hitting roadblocks and finding bugs. I may do the preview/release thing in future months, especially for complicated expansions.
Lack of bug reports aside, I do think I blew out the part of my brain that does Leaderboard. I'll recover—my brain is still bubbling over with story ideas for where things go and what things a player might do on Bidi-Essem—but the little D/s author in my brain needs a rest.
I've already got upgraded building graphics for Marooned on Teayeph VI ready to go, and I want to pair that with some gameplay expansions. I'm specifically looking to add better warnings from crewmates that they are unhappy so you can deal with that, and also, frankly, some means for you to deal with specific crewmates who are unhappy. I think some work shifts and some leisure activities should fit the bill quite nicely.
Speaking of leisure activities, I'm also eyeing the "find a playmate" code and thinking it could be a little more interesting and also more public. Nothing says saucy game like your crewmates getting horny on main and flirting over the comms. And lastly, if crewmates are going to go blow off steam, the captain really should be able to look in on them... just to make sure everybody's being safe, right? Captain's all locked up in the bridge, they've got needs, too!
Now I don't know how much of that I'll be able to pack into this month's expansion, but I'm going to at least get the ball rolling. This is, honestly, some game-balance and core game features that I've wanted in here since starting the project, and I'm eager to get them in there. I am curious, though, if any of you have stuff you've been hoping to see on Teayeph VI. What should go on my feature request list?

My very sketchy 'future plans' notes include "Creature from Black Lagoon' TF that increases swim speed. I suppose a mermaid TF could increase swim speed while killing walk speed...

I'd like the option to determine the starting body types of the crew, so it's more fun transforming them. You could really go anywhere with that, for example: -picking all members from a randomly generated roster before start. -setting filters (toggle men/women/intersex, weight above/below a limit, etc) -specific customization of each crewmember before starting -at the very least allowing us to 'reroll' crew when reloading the game like before There's still several bugs that need to be addressed too and I'll be happy. In terms of actual content; if there's any chance of further 'interaction' with more varieties of local wildlife I'd appreciate that too.
