I love seeing you do what you love and seing you enjoying it. Haters gonna hate, If there can be bishoujo cosplays, what does the skin color matter? Life is too short to let other people tell you what looks good on you or not. We will suport you!

Follow your heart and cosplay what you love, Danielle. You already cosplayed Shantae and got extremely positive reception! 😊 As long as you don't change your skin color with makeup or editing (except for Raven or alien colors like green) there shouldn't be a problem. Japanese people cosplay characters of all races, for example. I once saw an excellent cosplay of Sakura from Street Fighter by a Black woman. It shouldn't matter! Trust your friends, supporters, and most of all your own heart. If you really love the character, just do it! 💪

Ahhahaha I have to shoot beforehand so I have content ready in time, if it wasn’t for Valentine’s Jade would be released this month 🤫 I was insecure about the skin color, got a bit of hateful comments when I cosplayed Laura in the past 😖 But I love Jade and I wanted so baaad! I told Jutsu about that and she told me to not care and do it 🤪
