Tribute for DK Jacob
🕑 Added 2022-01-31 19:06:46 +0000 UTCHello guys, this is a different kind of post, so I'm sorry if some people don't like it, but I just felt I needed to do this. I'm heartbroken.
Some of you will remember one of my patrons called DK Jacob. He was a very active patron here, always engaging with posts and making sweet edits of my pictures to post to the community area and etc. He was always very respectful and cool towards everyone here.
This was one of the last messages he sent me. Of course I noticed he was gone out of nowhere, but sometimes this happens, right? Life is unpredictable and it's fine. But then I started to feel something very weird, because it was not something he would do. He was a patron since I started here, in April 2017, and never failed to support me. And it's not because of the money, it's a relationship we build over time with people here (at least it should be). And I was noticing he was too quiet either on Patreon or his social media. I texted him a couple of times to see if he was ok but didn't get any response and that's ok, people are busy and that's normal, I thought. But I never stopped thinking about it from time to time. Today I decided to dig a little deeper and found out on some family members Instagram that he actually died in September. I didn't find out the reason though.
I don't know what you believe, if you're religious os not... But I'm making this post so we can spare a minute of our time today to keep him in our prayers. In loving memory of DK Jacob, may our prayers find him in another dimension, hope he's resting in peace.
Life's too short. Live your life fully. Tell the people you love how much you love them. We're all just fragments of dreams in this existence.

Little conversations little interactions, even with how goddamn weird and confusing it is from cosplayers, still means the world to basic folks like us And then during long phases of absence with a text it runs on your mind whether to just carry on or what as we can’t read your guys minds on what your thinking and our gen is always prone to assume the worst, but in reality we still mean something to y’all clearly He stuck around since September, right around when you were twitch streaming during that phase, so for him the direct interaction with his important friend likely meant a lot, Hope your watching this tribute post homie, you know how she is being around this long with communication, and she had you in her thoughts all the time, you did well and you were a well appreciated here (Sorry this post is on my mind for many many reasons, and had more to say on the subject as it kinda got to me on many levels)

Really sweet of you to reach out to his family, it's always so sad when a part of the community is lost. Certainly don't have to be religious to reflect fondly on someone who had such a positive influence around him. Life is definitely too short, but we're glad to have such wonderful people around. <3
