I wanted to give you a quick update on the August rewards. It turns out I underestimated the time I’d need to get everything finished—this happens to me more often than I’d like 😅 I think my ADHD is part of the reason (but I finally have an appointment with my psychiatrist on the 30th 🥺) I also tend to forget to factor in life’s variables, assuming every day will be perfect like I hope, but we all know sometimes we have to adjust our plans 🫠
Recently, with the smoke that’s been around in many parts of Brazil, I had a pretty bad allergy flare–up in my eyes (it's called ocular chemosis I think), which made it really uncomfortable to work on the computer 😭 On top of that, as I get older 👵, I’m realizing I absolutely NEED to respect my rest periods. I can’t pull those endless work hours like I used to 🥺 If I push myself too hard, my immune system will be compromised... And if I end up getting sick, I'll miss even more days of work 😭 So, I’m trying to be more mindful of my limits 🙏
Additionally, the post-production for my Eve cosplay shoot, which one of my patrons is kindly handling, might take a little longer because of an issue he had on his computer, but he told me he's mostly able to complete everything by Wednesday 😊🙏
Because of all this, I’ll need a few more days to wrap up the rewards. Instead of the 15th, I’m planning to have everything ready by Friday, the 20th. I really appreciate your understanding and patience—it means the world to me. I promise it’ll be worth the wait! ❤️ All the sets are insanely gorgeous! And you know I'm the last person to compliment my own work 😂

Rest, Danielle. If anything I learned from working as a content creator is that it is never ever worth to work that hard to the point where your health is sacrificed in the process. It’ll cause you to burn out more often and make your work feel like a chore than something you want to do and create. Besides, if something were to happen to you… where would we find another cosplayer as true and genuine as yourself? There is no one who can replace you. We’d wait for as long as it takes because we believe in you and your work. Wishing you and everyone in Brazil a safe weekend.

I read on the fires on Brazil and how awful its been to the air, I hope you are able to avoid the worst of it 🥺😨. No worries, life comes up, especially these forces of nature. I am totally cool with waiting another few days to see the rewards, I know they'll be great! Take care of yourself. Your health matters!

You're making the right choice taking care of yourself first. Seeing a psychiatrist is never a bad thing. Sometimes we need a mental/emotional checkup, just like how we see a general doctor for a physical. 😊 I always say these two things and it's always true: your health is more important than your work, and your work is always worth the wait. 🥰
