I wanted to take a moment to explain the delays with rewards and share some of the challenges I’ve been facing 🥺 Over the past few months, Patreon has been making a lot of changes—introducing new features and removing old ones 😅
At the end of October, several things were completely revamped 💀 and since then, I’ve been dealing with so many issues that everything has become more complicated. I feel like I owe you all an explanation 🙏
When I sent out the rewards for September, I thought everything had gone smoothly. But shortly after, I started receiving messages from patrons saying they hadn’t received their rewards 😭 I double-checked everything, compared their receipts, and confirmed they had indeed paid and deserved the content. This made me wonder: how many others didn’t receive their rewards but didn’t reach out to tell me? 🥺
I contacted Patreon support for help, but unfortunately, their responses weren’t helpful. I explained the issue several times, but their answers didn’t solve anything. I ended up manually checking EVERY transaction and comparing it to the patron list. Today, I accidentally discovered a new way to view transactions, and I found even more inconsistencies 😕
This manual process has been exhausting and is taking a huge amount of time and energy. So far, I’ve only managed to do this for September, checking who didn’t receive their rewards. Now, I need to do the same for October, since I originally planned to send those rewards out tomorrow. Unfortunately, that’s not going to happen 😅 It’ll take me a few more days to get through this process...
Since 2017, I’ve never had issues like this with Patreon. It’s always been a reliable platform for me, and it’s so frustrating to deal with these problems now.
Today I sent another very well explained email to Patreon support, and I’m waiting for a better response. I’ll keep you updated, but for now, I’ll need more time to send out the October rewards.
On a more personal note, I want to share something that’s been impacting me. Since 2020, after my brother passed away, I’ve faced a lot of emotional struggles. Every year since, it feels like something worse happens—almost as if it’s not possible, but it is 😭 I’ve been trying to rebuild myself, piece by piece, and it’s been a long and difficult process. I know I haven’t been as consistent with rewards as I’d like, but I’m optimistic about 2025. I believe these problems belong to 2024 and the past, and I’m ready to leave them behind as I focus on improving next year.

Im so sorry for the loss of your brother. I remember you mentioning it. Believe it or not I'm a triplet and I have two sisters. If something happened to one of them or both of them I'd be devastated. It's really a shame regarding Patreon. That's why I made sure to show you proof of purchase receipts. Because honesty is a very important thing. You have done a phenomenal job as a content creator. I'm sure I speak for everyone here who says we appreciate you. Also if you need to take a break or things take longer than usually that's okay. Man you'd think Patreon would have figured this shit out by now being that a big portion of their creators send out more than one award each month. Sucks that you're having to go through that while trying to maintain your mental. It's easy to say, "You're doing great! You'll make it," when we're not going through it. Not discounting encouragement cause we all need it. But just remember it's okay to take a few steps back and bunt. Taking it slow and easy sometimes is the way to do it. I will hope in the new year, there's tons of new good things you can focus on that will outweigh the bad. Keep us posted on how we can help you from this side and if that means just us being patient and waiting for rewards, then we have the easy job lol. Thank you for the excellent preview, but also don't overwork yourself, keep trying your best. You're gonna hit a stride soon :o!

I'm sorry Patreon is being so difficult for you with these changes and I wish they were more helpful. 😥 As for your life journey, the fact that you are still here following your dreams and passions and sharing them with us, that's a testament to your strength. You are an inspiration to us all, Dani. 🥺💕 I really really hope November rewards processing goes much more easily for you. You and the other creators affected don't deserve any of this hassle. 😔
