Subscription billing?
🕑 Added 2022-09-27 23:12:00 +0000 UTCShould I switch to subscription billing style? Basically it will charge you when you sign up, and then again on that same day the next month. As opposed to the current system which charges you on the 1st of every month, and kind of screws anyone who signs up or changes their pledge later in the month. Let me know what you think.
The catch is, that once you set it up, it cannot be changed back. Not sure why, makes no sense to me. But it's how they have it set up and it gives you an ominous warning of no return in the setup stuff.

fixed dates are easier to handle and remember.

It sounds like the billing change only affects new subscribers and not existing ones according to the FAQ page.

What Razire said, it's easier to remember "Oh, Patreon at the beginning of the month!"

Its easier for me to remember that my payments are at the start of every month rather than trying to remember the specific date I signed up on. Doesn't help I've been a patron so long I don't even remember when I signed up at this point.
