Hmm on the one hand the bird seems too intelligent, but on the other Song's contract should let her see if anything is weird about it...so maybe it's just a bird?

This isn't what I meant when I said I wanted to see more of the archbishop! But I can't be too dissapointed when such a formidable foe decides to join the cabal... On a more serious note, looks like eating a humble pie was exactly what Angharad needed. We've seen Tristan, Song, and Maryam improve (in different ways), perhaps it's Angharads turn. I expect her spending time testing her contract with Maryam will help her grow (in multiple ways). Tftc!

Such a satisfying chapter: Angharad finding good leverage to work with the 13th and opening up in the process, Maryam wanting to experiment with her contract, Tristan and Song working together, going on the right track to look into Imani, them working together is so good, Ferranda stating facts and Sakkas! It was such a good read and made the end of the week that much better!

If I remember correctly, Sakkas was the name of the Archbishop of the Sunless house and the owner of the cottage. I think Angharad also witnessed him casting something that made the all the Watch folks attack one another during Witching Hour

Maryam looks like a Hollow, Song's reputation is rock bottom because of the Professor and Tristan as always being underestimate ... no reason for people to join them and they also dont want bottom feeder .... but i think when The Garrison told the students about the kidnapping and the 13th success, there will be someone who want to join them (either as a spy or genuinely want to join)

Song and Tristan are probably the members with the most synergy. They understand each other very well. And is there any reason besides narrative ones why they did not recrut the replacement for Angharad? The more members, they have the less likely they to be disbanded if one leaves or dies.
