"Aren't you afraid that AI will take your job?"
I replied no; in fact, I told him that I believe it can give me an extra boost in my work.
I would never replace traditional drawing and illustration, which I already do with a graphics tablet. However, progress and the future offer new tools that you can leverage to expand your projects, so I embrace it with pleasure.
Now, I donβt know how many of you are fans of AI and how many arenβt, but itβs definitely becoming a significant part of the present and will increasingly be a part of our daily lives. Itβs true that itβs still imperfect and has many flaws (just look at this GIF of Loona), but I must say Iβm super excited to see my drawings come to life and move.
My intent is not to use AI to generate drawings and replace my art, but only to animate the characters I create in my style, with my hand.
Iβve done a lot of testing, and I have to say that the best animations are the simplest and shortest, despite the obvious issues that will improve over time.
Imagine your animated commissions, the monthly characters with movements, the Impregnator comic even more aliveβhow exciting is that?
What can I say? Iβm thrilled and excited to see these characters in motion, and Iβll be sharing a lot more content about it.

Thereβs a quote that sums up my view. βAI is like fertilizer and art is the crop. Ai can enhance but should never replace it.β Using Ai to enhance your work with animations would make your art even more beautiful, especially if you animate the growth spurt and belly kick variants.

I look forward to see what you can do. I don't like AI art, however, I don't discourage you from making animations with it.

My main problem is the time, to use animation softwares you need a lot of time, time that unfortunately I don't have since I work on monthly characters, Impregnator and commissions π€

It might be less polarizing to learn a program like After Effects, but it would be neat to see animations of babies kicking and growth spurts.

Of course! I'm not a fan of generated illustrations and drawing, I'm just interested to make alive the characters I'm making. These will be extra contents, so in addition, not less to my art.

Still not a fan of AI, especially in the creative business but if youβre intending to use it for the animation side of things and not actually generate artwork thus replacing your traditional work. I say we see how it goes.
