When Cole found Aegon in the forest he first saw Aemond lifting his sword to what? End the job he did on Aegon since dragon fire didn’t fully kill him yet. And remember Aemond seeks out revenge when people embarass him (Luke). So that whole thing with Aegon and Aemond in the brohel was def some motivation (in my opinion lol). His brother has always been on of his bullies as a kid

I feel for Aegon because as much as Allicent and Otto, he’s like this because of you two (and his neglectful father). You can’t just hope he suddenly gets an interest in learning how to rule simply because you put a crown on his head. He should’ve been better prepared in the decades of plotting Otto and the greens were doing, now they’re mad at him because he’s a 20 year old who doesn’t know what he’s doing? This man wasn’t even taught to speak his native language properly??

Like his father was in pain from the cuts he received from the throne which resulted in his body being infected from the wounds and he had to be on milk of the poppy which is a drink to take away the pain for a bit but it messes with your mind. So Aegon will have to be hooked on it and be in even more pain due to his flesh being messed up
