So let's talk about Samandriel now.
Samandriel - Dark Elf - Heartbow Ranger
Skills and Perks
Restoration (just enough for some heals to herself), Alteration (for some magic resistance only), Archery, One-handed, Stealth, and Light Armor.
Location
Find her in the Moorside Inn in Morthal.
Weapons
Truthseeker - Her special silver bow. Does extra damage to undead and also drains just a little bit of life from normal enemies. Can be tempered and enchanted if you have the right perks.
Sevenfold - Her enchanted elven sword. Does some lightning damage. Can be tempered and enchanted if you have the right perks.
Special Features
SMP Hair - she comes with an SMP wig that will automatically load on her head when you enter the cell she is in. Requires an SMP Physics mod like Faster HDT-SMP.
Summon Scroll - You can summon Samandriel to you. She has the scroll in her inventory.
Visions Features - She has all the features of any other follower made with the new Visions mod architecture. Saving space, better performance, proper hair color when wearing wigs, and more. See Visions Asset Pack for more details.
Custom Voice - Uses "Olivia" from the awesome Simply Open Sourced Custom Voice Pack mod available on Nexusmods (see requirements). There is a standard vanilla voice version for people who don't want to load the voice mod requirement. This custom voice also supports Nether's Follower Framework so she will talk to you when switching outfits and such.

Backstory
Samandriel was an orphaned child found outside Windhelm wandering the wilds by the Heartbow Rangers. They took her in and trained her in their ways, eventually making her one of them. Her adventures across Skyrim have made her famous and she was gifted her magical weapons by the leaders of the Heartbow Rangers. She is currently second in command under the leader of the Rangers, Kayle.
Kalye has dispatched Samandriel to the Morthal area in hopes of finding an important figure in Skyrim. Other Heartbow Rangers have spread across Skyrim in hopes of finding this mysterious figure that is destined to either save or destroy Skyrim.

Outfit
Now includes SPID mod for the new official Heartbow Rangers uniform - Dawn Warrior that will put the outfit on Samandriel. Thanks to Gonzeh for the SPID mod!
Update 12/9/2024
Due to the recent update to Simply Open Source Voice Pack (4.0), I had to update Samandriel's custom voice version. This does not effect the vanilla version and you don't need to download a new version if you use the vanilla voice. That said, you should grab the custom voice version as it really is nice to have more unique voices for Skyrim. THIS VERSION REQUIRES SKYPATCHER FOR THE NFF FACTION ADDON.

No, it isn't. That is one of the things I fixed. No more NFF requirement.

Is NFF a hard requirement for the custom voiced version because I already use EFF and it suits me just fine.

Yes, it should be totally safe to update her.
