Patreon Exclusive - Heartbow Ranger Guildhall
🕑 Added 2024-11-13 20:41:29 +0000 UTCHere it is, as promised. A new base of operations for the Heartbow Rangers. This location will serve as a quest hub for future mods in my story series next year. The first quest mod will be related to The Revenant - Karla Raven.
What is included with this mod?
Three different locations - The Guildhall (in The Reach), a cottage south of Riverwood, and a cottage in The Reach.
The Guildhall has two new NPCs (not followers - yet) - Trainer Shalandra and Quartermaster Orka. Shalandra will train the player on bows and Orka offers a place to buy and sell. Orka also can train the player in light armor.
All plugins included with this mod are ESPFE to save your precious load order slots.
Support for Ulvenwald, Lux, and Lux Orbis is included in patch plugins.
FOMOD Installer to help you make some choices during install.
All Rangers in the Guildhall have AI Packages that keep them busy either inside the Guildhall or outside guarding it.
Sasana has been gifted the Riverwood Cottage as her new home. She has been made an honorary member of the Heartbow Rangers.
Original spawn locations of the followers (Kayle, Samandriel, Sasana, and Solvi) have plugins to change their spawn location to either the guildhall or the cottage in Sasana's case.
This mod has some requirements. It should be no surprise that since it is based on the Heartbow Rangers, that all of those followers and Sasana are required for this mod.

Technical Notes
This mod comes with a SkyPatcher patch to equip the Heartbow Ranger Outfit (Dawn Warrior) on all the NPCs as well as their wigs (if they have one). If the outfit or wigs are not working, you likely have another mod conflicting with their outfits (or a conflicting SPID patch). Please double check your own load order before submitting an issue with missing outfits or wigs.
If you use a grass cache or Dynlodod you will likely need to run both of them again.

Update 1.1
Fixed a problem with the new NPC outfits not being set correctly.
Fixed a mesh problem with the Reach cottage that was causing texture issues.

Fixed some collision issues with the stairs while in third person as well as ragdoll issues with the same.
Non-SMIM Textures
If you are one of those souls that doesn't use SMIM, we have a fix for you. Download the Non-SMIM update. Everyone else should be fine.

A version like that doesn't exist. I had to run both on my own rig. Everyone's setup is different.

For the Guildhall, head south down the road from the Old Hroldan Inn. You will see it on the left. Once you find the Guildhall, stay on the same road and go the same direction and you will eventually stumble upon the first cottage which is on the border of the Reach. It will be on the right. The other cottage is south of Riverwood along the road and on the left. You can't miss it.

I can't seem to find any of the houses so I'm not sure if the guild hall mod is working. I have all the followers and the armor. I have seen two of the followers in Morthal, so I know they are working. I have been wandering around Riverwood and the Reach for hours but I don't see the buildings. I have the main mod, the hot fix and the non SMIM Re since I don't have SMIM. They are all loading late. Any help would be appreciated because your work is awesome.
