That cheap trick is part of his arsenal tho lol and still holding back too. Sasori and deidara both hold back during this arc which makes people underestimate them

We don't see Sasuke's chakra deplete to zero until the finale of his fight with Itachi, which is when Orochimaru was able to resurface. The fact that this didn't happen during the Deidara encounter should indicate that he still had a bit of chakra left in the tank for Manda's summoning. (Deidara even gets pissed when Sasuke deactivates his Sharingan, because he feels underestimated, which would also indicate that he still had chakra to use.)

Yeah even so I don't think Kakashi can open the 5th inner gate like kid Lee can. We've only ever seen Kakashi open the first gate in the entire anime. And Kakashis reaction to Lee opening the 5th gate sort of implies to me that Kakashi can't open it himself.

The same could be implied if deidara just wanted an easy win , C0 should’ve killed Sasuke, bro had no chakra and somehow managed to summon Manda. Sasuke even admitted he only beat Oro as well because Oro was sick. Hebi Sasuke really wasn’t that OP, now Take Sasuke with MS is a different story.

Idk whats wrong with the dub but kakashi is not smarter than shikamaru lol. His taijutsu isn't better than Lees. And for damn sure his sharingan isn't better than sasukes. Someone needed to fire the guy who came out with those dubs.

I mean, he didn't take Sasuke down though. Throughout the entire fight, he held back so he could attempt to extract info on Itachi's whereabouts. They make it clear towards the end that he read all of Deidara's moves. He didn't use any fire style techniques nor his trump card "Kirin".

I think people forget Deidara held back in his fight because he wasn’t allowed to kill Gara, they underestimate the dude who took down Sasuke had it not been for plot armor 💀
