Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't that flashback when Naruto transformed into Sasuke? Hence the reason Sasuke doesn't remember it was because the real one wasn't there that day?

Sasuke is more than justified. Tsunade really dropped the ball on this. She herself knew that Orochimaru was planning on getting Sasuke, how does he have nobody keeping an eye on him. Sound Village ninja walk in, have a full blow fight, kick his ass, give him a speech, leaves and nobody intervened? I mean, if that is the village you're growing up in, how can you learn to defeat a criminal like Itachi?

I'm just saying Yuri Lowenthal, the actor who plays Sasuke, is incredibly gifted. They're all talented, but he can play an angsty teenager and not make it appear parodic.

Gotta love the Leaf Village. Orochimaru's top henchmen invade the village unnoticed. Attack the last of the Uchiha clan. Cause a huge ruckus with a fight including Sasuke kicking one through a building.... And not a single ninja comes to investigate lol. And don't event get me started on the next episode

I was Sakura hater myself but my opinion started to shift when I found out the animation studio behind the Naruto series was biased against her. There are Tumblr posts about it and I started to wonder how much of my hate for her was because of the animation studio vs how she was written.

The thing is that at this point sasuke isn't into anything besides revenge. He considers naruto a friend yet doesn't give any signs of that being the case. Kishimoto said that sasuke always cared about her just that his focus was singular. When he tries to kill her in shippuden it's after he learned that itachi was used by the leaf and started hating all of them simply for benefiting from the peace itachi gifted to the leaf.

Well he killed the entire uchiha alone for what people know. Only the elders and sarutobi/danzo knew the truth and they obviously didn't have any quarrel with itachi. As for the others... first of all they cannot act without hokage ordering it and second they cannot throw bodies to the guy that exterminated the uchiha clan.

Hahaha Majin Sasuke! That was cute! It’s like Sasuke seems cruel but at this point it’s plainly obvious that Sasuke isn’t into her. Like when he told her at the beginning to practice instead of flirting 😂 but Naruto is the same although he at least trained. Sasuke wasn’t necessarily cruel, he just didn’t reciprocate and that’s something that for now Sakura just didn’t seem to get…in my opinion lol.

I respect Sakura way more with this scene honestly. She's the only one who knew he was going to leave which means she understands him way more than Naruto and Kakashi (although you could argue paranoia but l stand by my point).

I don’t care what anyone says Sakura is a keeper bro, despite all of Sasuke’s flaws (and he has many) she still accepted all of that and still continued to love him and lets be honest there ain’t that many guys or girls that can truly love someone that much and have that many flaws.

This episode was sad as heck man... I also feel Sasuke's "Thank you" was definitely romantic now that I watched it again. I've seen that line used for confessions in Japanese media several times.
