But not a survivor. 😅😅 but yeah I was just thinking about it…because Madara used a regular sharingan as did Tobi…obviously with the anime I know it’s not that deep! I’m sure it’s like you said to start dropping hints of what’s to come in the future. But yeah 😅😅😅 these are good talks!

Itachi actually does reference another Mangekyo user in og Naruto. It's shown in chapter 225 of the manga, which I believe is episode 131 of the anime. Aside from that, stuff like control of the Nine-Tails with a Mangekyo could just be one of the few retcons that Kishimoto did.

No yeah that part I get. What I meant was when the slaughter happened (in original Naruto) Itachi never said there was a third survivor. And now all of a sudden there is. I mean I guess it’s just plot armor in a way. But also, when the nine tails was tamed it was always with the regular sharingan activated. Idk if all that makes sense LOL. I know I’m just probably reading too much into it 🥲😅

Well, when it pertains to the flashback with Madara, it's important to note that Itachi deliberately shows Sasuke a convoluted version of historical events..(Stealing his brother's eyes..etc..) because he knows that "Madara" will attempt to manipulate and get Sasuke on his side. He paints him as this downright evil individual so that Sasuke doesn't trust him.

Yeah that’s true too. I think this arc isn’t in the manga? Or am I wrong with that one? But like Itachi telling Sasuke there was another person alive? And I’m also wondering if the taming the Nine Tails comes with just having the mangekyo awakened or activated? Idk if I’m just reading too much into it. Because during the flashback of Madara and the incident of the leaf, the mangekyo wasn’t used. It was just a regular sharingan. Again, I do remember some arcs in the anime are more filler than cannon b

Madison’s reactions!!! 😂 love them! But I love how Itachi reveals little snippets that come into full light later on. And idk guys is it just me or are there plot holes in some of these explanations. Like the taming the nine-tails part. Ik Madison doesn’t read these, but don’t want to give too much away either

It’s like a 100 years or so. Gotta remember the 1st Hokage is Tsunade’s grandfather so Madara is old yeah, but not truly ancient haha. He is however truly badass and one of the best antagonists I’ve ever experienced in a story.
