I really don't understand why Naruto is going so hard for Sasuke. I'd get it if they were life long best friends but in reality they didn't even start to see eye to eye until haku nearly killed him and he left the village a few months later maybe close to a year. I can understand getting a team and trying to bring him back but after taking 2 chidori to the chest, it should be clear his goals are more important to him than you. is it really worth training for 3 years, getting embarrassed when you see him again in front of your team when you see him, being beat up by foreigners because he joined the same group that's trying to kill you, crying in front of the raikage, getting lied to by your life long crush ruining the friendship with her and heart attack all for a guy you knew for 6 to 9 months? I think both Naruto and Sakura have imagined who they think Sasuke is instead of seeing who he really is.

He does and he doesn't. For one thing, Itachi is only human. Him wanting something and thinking that it's right does not mean his choice is actually the right one. As far as Sasuke's actions go... Danzo is being manipulative and dishonest. Sure, Sasuke going after the leaf village is unwarranted and goes against Itachi's ideals... But Sasuke going against Danzo is different. If you pay attention to the show you end up seeing Danzo for what he truly is, not what he believes himself to be. Danzo is a traitor to the leaf and arguably has done more against the village than Sasuke ever did. Even though Itachi might not have agreed... Sasuke killing Danzo does in fact help the village.

As much as we hate Danzo, he does have a point about Sasuke redirecting his hatred. It does undo what Itachi sacrificed so much for.

That foundation theme is too good to be wasted on Danzo lol but this is an awesome display of the depths of Sharingan ability and there's plenty more to display later in the show.
