It's crazy how Danzo was a character everyone hated in the beginning for so long because of what he did. Yes, he tried to do everything for the village but his ego got in the way. He just wanted to be up there with the 3rd Hokage, and the thing is Hiruzen cared for Danzo, but it just shows that jealousy can destroy relationships. I like the way Kishimoto defined Danzo and his character, though I didn't like Danzo in general I liked the way he was portrayed

Well they’re structured in how they do it. Right now it’s dragonball+abridged and Naruto. There are a few anime I personally hope they get into as well. Tons of folks likely throwing requests. Hopefully we get to react to a ton of stuff.

Madara saying, 'Now that's my boy' after that cold hostage execution seems to be a nod to what Fugaku used to say to Itachi and Sasuke whenever they impressed him. Interestingly, it seems to be unique to the dub, as the official sub line was something more like 'Now that's what I wanted to see.' I don't know what the original true translation is, but pretty cool if the dub team threw that in there

I get the writers intent behind Danzos character. He was meant to be like Magento, someone who had good intentions but went about doing things the wrong way. The problem is that Danzos intentions came across as sinister. Someone who wanted power and control over others. Maybe if he had more people willing to follow him outside the foundation. Others who genuinely believed in his ideals, thus creating a civil war and testing the loyalties of the people in the leaf village. I always thought that was a missed opportunity.

That was always an excuse for Hiruzen not to kill his friend and for Danzo to justify his power seeking ways. Do not forget that Hiruzen is the same man that hesitated to attack Orochimaru. Danzo could have allowed the Uchiha to live but instead he chose to betray Shisui and take his eye.

The third hokage should have executed Danzo years ago. He is a traitor because he has been working against the orders of every hokage ever since he got any sort of political power. Danzo's ultimate goal was probably to obtain control of the leaf and sharingan and nine tails... This plan came before the akatsuki entered the picture. With all these powers i believe Danzo either intended to defeat or utterly destroy the other 4 nations... Making Danzo one of the most evil criminals in the naruto world. And sure you can say he "loved" the leaf... He loved it like Hitler loved Germany.

No Danzo didn't "stop" the coup. Danzo stopped Shisui from ending the coup peacefully and then took those sharingan for himself. He also tried to assassinate Hiruzen and undermine Tsunade multiple times. He also earned the distrust of all 4 kages at the summit. Danzo is a far worse criminal than Sasuke is at this point... And a traitor to the leaf.

Lord Third and Danzo Were pretty much like yin and yang. One in the light and the other in darkness. There are problems that can not be solved through conventional means and that’s where Danzo came into play. If you think about it, it’s kinda messed up burdening some one with the villages darkness.

One thing you guys keep jumping back to, and I think it was just a misunderstanding of what was going on, but Itachi only implanted the amatarasu to attack Madara...he didn't implant anything else. Just so you don't have any misconceptions moving forward👍

You were right about Sasuke being worse than scum. As Kakashi once said, "Those who abandon their comrades are worse than scum." Sasuke just ran through Karin like she was nothing, which proves just that. Nothing matters to him, just revenge.

remember the uchiha tried to do a coup. so danzo stopped it. how he did it tho was wrong but all he ever did was try to protect the hidden leaf. 3rd hokage and danzo just did things differently.
