Ig you're going to do this on every episode. To anyone reading this, in episode 32 Danzo announces that he arranged for Sai to be on Naruto's team. He also named him Sai and makes it clear they will be on the same team. In the next episode Tsunade says Sakura needs to find a new member and Madison guessed it was sai. This is obvious to anyone who paid attention to the ending of 32 because it literally tells you Sai will be on their team. Not a fake reaction, this guy is just an idiot

Fyi when you're talking about flashbacks and how you said "know why the writers are trying to do this but i don't know if this is an effective way to portray the thematic elements", please remember this is NOT what the writer (kishimoto) did. This was done because at the time the anime was very close to catching up to the manga so they had flashbacks like this to fill time. It's a different kind of filler. Things like All of these flashbacks, extended character reactions to things, etc are NOT in the manga.

Unfortunately flashbacks aren't added because the writers think they add to the story, they are mostly added so that they can extend episodes and cut on animation time.

The lead up is pretty intense and there’s a ton of dead space and filler in between. I hope you guys watch Guy and Kakashi’s last contest before he becomes Hokage hahaha. It’s ridiculous but some good fun with Guy of course.

There are a lot of flashbacks mixed in from here out. Few episodes go to the degree that the past 10 episodes have but be prepared for minutes of flashbacks every other episode.
