When Naruto and Sasuke fought in the valley of the end. Sasuke states high level Shinobi and can speak to each other and understand what each other are feeling just by throwing hands. So I always believed this mental space was the visualized version of that. Since they are exchanging fists, or jutsu, they can understand one another and transfer their thoughts.

Yeah this is why I recommended watching at least the 3 tails and 6 tails filler arcs. You guys saw Guren the crystal user and 3 tails arc and it was better than Utakata’s 6 tails arc but it does add to the continuity and plot depth. At least you got a little taste. Don’t feel too bad, we don’t see him fight Pain in the filler arc, we get that reveal in this episode which is pretty cool because I was left wondering how the fight went because Utakata is no slouch.

There are some filler that have scenes I would say could fit canon. There are some canon episodes that almost always get questioned if it’s canon cuz it feels goofy or the quality is down. That episode where might guy and kakashi have a race in which kakashi also gets pronounced hokage is that type of episode. A filler/canon episode, it had enough scenes to make it canon but there are some episodes with important info but not enough info to make it canon

FILLER SPOILER: There was a filler that was skipped that featured the return of Hidan through reanimation after Kabuto ran into Naruto and company. It was also the first set of episodes during this war arc that featured the unique animation we realized in the Madara episodes. It's as if it was a test, and holds a love story between an unlikely pair. It's still a good watch even if off camera.

If I remember correctly, Utakata's fight with Pain was NOT in the filler at all. The Utakata filler only gives you some background on Utakata, but otherwise doesn't contribute to the Main story at all. You guys were able to piece together the gist of the filler with what they showed here. It's not the worst filler and it's not the best, it's just meh. You're not missing anything if you skip it.

Naruto has stated that being a jinchuriki does not bring him despair. Rather, he has made peace with that. The fox heard that and something has resonated within it. Something positive is about to happen between those two I just know it.

It's been a long time but if I remember correctly none of that Pain vs. Utakata battle was in the filler arc. That was exclusive to this episode. I remember the actual episodes being rather dull which is likely why most of the community would have voted to skip them. But by all means if you'd like to know a little more about his character you can go back and watch them.

Spoilers: This nobody is Shisui Uchiha. The reason why Kabuto couldn't find his body to reanimate him is because there is no body. He's still alive. I mean, look. He and the masked man both have spiky hair. Unbeknowst to everyone including Itachi, Shisui had grown disillusioned with the clan and the village after his failed attempt to stop the Uchiha coup. He then adopted the alias Tobi and took all of the Sharingan after the massacre. Remember Tobi's lab full of Sharingan. Those were the ones that replaced his own. He'd learned of the Infinite Tsukuyomi and planned to create a paradise where clan members no longer have to slaughter one another for the sake of the village.

The upcoming kakashi filler arc is a must watch especially for Madison since it's her favorite character. One of the best filler arc that adds alot of value to the main plot

Only filler I would recommend are the episodes centered around Kakashi and his history. Especially as much as Madison loves his character. Those are the next filler arc starting with 347 ending with 361. Great arc, some during the last few seasons as well
