12 July 2025 Update
Installers updated to support RTX 5000 series and install bug fixed
Delete venv folder and run new installer
Windows Requirements
Python 3.10, FFmpeg, CUDA 12.8, cuDNN 9.7, C++ Tools and Git
If it doesn't work make sure to below NEW tutorial and install everything exactly as shown in this below tutorial
31 January 2025 Update
All models updated to Version 5.1
Installers and model downloader updated
I recommend make a fresh install
DeepSpeed and Triton will be installed on Windows with Python 3.10 venv since now we have pre-compiled wheels
Windows requirements is now Python 3.10
It works better than before
EasyAnimate is Runway Gen-3 for FREE
Official repo : https://github.com/aigc-apps/EasyAnimate
It supports Text-to-Video - tested working
Image-to-Video including beginning and ending frame - beginning frame tested working
And video controls - I haven't tested this
It supports Video-to-Video as well - tested working
It supports up to 1100 frames by doing a looped generation - takes long
I tested up to 10 seconds and works great
It supports 512, 768 and 960 HD resolutions
512 requires : 24 GB GPU
768 requires : 48 GB GPU
960 requires : 80 GB GPU
I recommend to have 96 GB RAM but don't worry if you don't have such RAM, enable virtual RAM on your fastest disk and set it 100 GB to not have any issues before using
I have tested this APP on 48 GB and 64 GB RAM machines and works great with having virtual RAM
Virtual RAM only used during initial model load
Model Zoo
How To Install
Extract zip file into like G:\EasyAnimate_v1
Double click and run Windows_Install.bat
Once you see EasyAnimate folder you can also start simulatnously downloading necessary models
I have hugely optimized model downloader and it gets 1000 MB second on Massed Compute so it is ultra fast
To download models double click and start Download_Models.bat and select the models you want
You can download Image to Video model, Text to Video model or Video Control model (I haven't used yet)
After Gradio started, first you need to select Pretrained Model Path
When you first time select it if you get error, close CMD and start again and second time should work
If you get error during first generation, click generate again and restart again and try again , it should get fixed
For Massed Compute and RunPod same rules applies (trying again to generate)
RunPod Instructions
Please register for RunPod at: https://get.runpod.io/955rkuppqv4h
Select a GPU with a minimum of 24 GB VRAM, such as the RTX 3090.
Get a machine with minimum 48 GB RAM, getting multiple GPU machine better you will get more RAM
Choose a RunPod template:
RunPod Pytorch 2.2.0
runpod/pytorch:2.2.0-py3.10-cuda12.1.1-devel-ubuntu22.04
Follow Runpod_Instructions_READ.txt
Massed Compute Instructions
If you get 2x A6000 GPU it would work best with 96 GB RAM but not mandatory
Watch this instructional video to learn how to use Massed Compute:
Register for Massed Compute using the following link:
Important Notes:
Ensure each copy-paste action is accurate, as Massed Compute may not always copy-paste correctly.
Select an A6000 GPU or A6000 GPU ALT (if other one is not available) and use our code SECourses for huge discount.

https://youtu.be/DrhUHnYfwC0?t=375 You keep referring to this list of downloads, where is the link for this list?
DanO..
You the man!
Ahmet Inceelli
Seriously? I'll try right away. Thank you.
Furkan Gözükara
yes hopefully very soon a full tutorial coming for it
Furkan Gözükara
try it. it has cpu offloading and more optimizations so should work
Ahmet Inceelli
No chance for RTX 4060 - 8 GB VRAM? 😺
DanO..
Hunyuan video looks really good. My buddy, who uses ComfyUI, has been getting some really good stuff and there's lots of fun loras for it on CivitAI. Is that something you could set up with your own Gradio UI? That would be awesome.
Furkan Gözükara
you need to get a bigger VRAM machine for 960p . it doesnt support multi gpu sadly. even if you get nvlink i doubt it will work out of box.

Getting this error running on 2xA6000 on Massed Compute. 960 resolution with starting and ending frame for 49 frames. Do I need nvlink? "Error. error information is CUDA out of memory. Tried to allocate 5.14 GiB. GPU 0 has a total capacity of 47.43 GiB of which 3.38 GiB is free. Including non-PyTorch memory, this process has 44.01 GiB memory in use. Of the allocated memory 36.10 GiB is allocated by PyTorch, and 7.59 GiB is reserved by PyTorch but unallocated. If reserved but unallocated memory is large try setting PYTORCH_CUDA_ALLOC_CONF=expandable_segments:True to avoid fragmentation. See documentation for Memory Management (https://pytorch.org/docs/stable/notes/cuda.html#environment-variables)"

Got it up on Runpod but dont know how on windows
Furkan Gözükara
hi where do you use? windows runpod massed compute?
Kirb
Furkan Gözükara
it might have. usually researchers doesnt care such stuff :D

Does this have a memory leak? It works once, maybe twice and then I start getting out of memory errors. If I restart it, it works again once or twice. (using 24GB vram and 512 x 512)
Furkan Gözükara
your template is wrong. please use RunPod Pytorch 2.2.0 runpod/pytorch:2.2.0-py3.10-cuda12.1.1-devel-ubuntu22.04
What to watch high
Running the predict_i2v script works so this must be a gradio thing

This fixes the model location but I still get an error when loading model. Did a fresh install on a new pod. Upgrading Gradio fixed the error when I try to select a model. Now it tries to load and then gives a connection error after like 60 seconds. Running on 1 x RTX 6000 Ada 16 vCPU 188 GB RAM runpod/pytorch:2.1.1-py3.10-cuda12.1.1-devel-ubuntu22.04 On-Demand - Secure Cloud
Furkan Gözükara
so sorry this mistake just fixed with v2

Thanks for the reply. I've tried multiple times following directions exactly. It installs into a directory named "virtualRam". when i CD into that and run additional commands it launches the interface but fails to find any models. It produces an error when clicking on the dropdown File "/workspace/virtualRAM/EasyAnimate/easyanimate/ui/ui.py", line 156, in update_diffusion_transformer self.vae = Choosen_AutoencoderKL.from_pretrained( File "/workspace/virtualRAM/EasyAnimate/easyanimate/models/autoencoder_magvit.py", line 565, in from_pretrained pretrained_model_path = os.path.join(pretrained_model_path, subfolder) File "/usr/lib/python3.10/posixpath.py", line 76, in join a = os.fspath(a) TypeError: expected str, bytes or os.PathLike object, not NoneType

hi i installed and had 0 errors. what errors you got? it should work right out of box. will make a video but didnt have chance yet
Bertrand Samimi
Hello I have try to install it on massed computed but many error after instal What can we do ?
Furkan Gözükara
i think 12 gb can be sufficient sorry for delay i will be working on this
Furkan Gözükara
there is long video option on step 5
Furkan Gözükara
follow the screenshot and the template. i tested and works perfect. something you are doing must be inaccurate. we dont use any dreambooth or lora. i will make a video of installation you can wait it
What to watch high
Been trying to get this to work for the last 2 hours on runpod. Models get downloaded to the wrong spot. Installation doesn’t install all requirements. Even when I move things to the right places it gives me an error when selecting the model. Restarted and same issue. It shows in the list but fails when I select it. There are also no dream booth models. Not sure if I need them because I can’t get that far
DanO..
Great news! Patiently waiting.
Tobe2d
You mentioned that you have tested up to 10 seconds and works great. On step 7 it can do only 49 frames, how to set it to render 10 seconds or more?
Furkan Gözükara
yes that is default cache
Furkan Gözükara
i think there is a way today i am going to test wait me :D
DanO..
Really hoping this gets optimized. I'm stuck at 12GB VRAM for quite a while. But most things don't work in that space at first and usually pretty quickly they do!

I installed and downloaded in my L drive. I noticed that I lost around 70GB on my C drive but I did not install on my C drive. Where can I find the files on my C drive and delete them. Edit: I found the location: C:\Users\youruser\.cache\huggingface\hub
Furkan Gözükara
i doubt that. using 20 GB but you can try
Furkan Gözükara
you need to install python 3.11 as well. after installing python 3.11 reinstall the app. also 3.11 doesnt need to be your default python
