🕑 Added 2024-10-21 00:19:50 +0000 UTCWe stayed in Glide, Oregon, for about a day on our way home from our road trip through the Cascades. A lot of this area has been destroyed by recent wildfires and it was a lot emptier than we thought it would be. In a way, this was great for shooting, but it was sad to see how much of the landscape had been burned down. That being said, there was still so much beauty and serenity to be found here.

Reminds me a bit of that book “Inheritors of the Earth.” On the one hand you have the devastation of climate change, but on the bright side it sure makes for an evocative backdrop to a pretty lady
