Norm for Panasonic cells, though they now are either in house made, or for cheap ones are a badge job, but 20 years ago they would have been the in house version only. The most common Panasonic branded ells are either fakes or badge jobs, hard to tell the difference. there are also a lot of fakes that look almost identical, like Penisonic, or Pamisonic, which are near identical, aside from the name, in an identical looking font, but with capacity around a quarter, and generally also much higher ESR as well.
