For me, from what I remember, for the next three episodes... not only do they contribute little to nothing to the story at large, but they weren't really strong episodes either, so it's two strikes. Overall though, I think it's an excellent series overall, including both season 1 and 2. People really seem to dislike the 2nd arc but I have no issue with it. I think they have trouble getting past elves, and the familial romance that isn't normal in western culture.

I honestly don't get the hate these episodes get. Like, sure, it's not some huge arc, but it's still part of the anime and I honestly like them. In fact, I don't understand most of the hate this anime gets in general, especially for season 1 and 2.

def next 3 episodes are side stories not interesting at all

Just my opinion, they can skip the next 3 episodes, watch the last 7 (the Rosario Arc) if they like, watch the movie Ordinal Scale, then move into Season 3. Definitely think the movie comes before Season 3 right?

Guys after this there's like 10 episodes of side stories some of which are kinda ass I recommend skipping most of them and moving onto the 3rd season which is sword art online alicitization ( this is peak SAO where the story telling is actually top tier and action is even better). Actually there were good parts in the side stories like the Rosaria arc (last 5 eps of season 2 ) which are definitely worth watching but your call
