As you know, I'll be updating the comic on Monday, but patrons get early access on SUNDAY @ 7PM CST on the overtime blog. (I HOPE the timezones are correct, please don't yell at me, I promise it's scheduled!!)2. Posting delay! Looks like 4.5 and 4.6 won't be up for a while. I'm currently juggling book promotion, Kickstarter fulfillment and drawing the comic, so please be patient! As for now, please don't expect 4.5 by the 9th or even the 16th. I really apologize for the delay and hope you can understand. I should be back to livestreaming on the 13th and 14th. Thank you!

The Overtime blog is the best! Ngozi posts extra sketches and thoughts and artwork and sometimes early previews of the comics. The password changes monthly and gets posted here, I think for $5+ patrons, so if you're at that level just search for a recent post with the password and a link. It's a great way to get your Check Please fix in between comics.

Okay I read it three times in a row and sobbed harder every time, ugh. I've been in that kind of position with my mom before - the phone call where she's being way more accepting than I expected, but also still kinda just struggling to understand. Suzanne, I knew you'd come through. <3 Oh, and her heartbreak over the "you can come home," augh. Parents. You really knocked it out of the park with this one.
