In the scene at the insurance office, I think it's significant that Jimmy introduces himself as just McGill. He should know there's a good chance she might first find Chuck in the system which "innocently" introduces the backdrop of Chuck being a lawyer insured by this company. Maybe it wasn't plan A when Jimmy went in but I think he had some malice aforethought

A pattern you’ll notice in this series is that all of Jimmy’s most destructive lies are *true*. Jimmy is never more honest about his emotions then when he is weaponizing them in the service of a con. I think he struggles to express his real feelings, and all these layers of performance and irony are what allow him to express them freely.
