When I wrote this post in November, I was actually crying... haha. I remember writing and deleting it over the course of two days. So I thought I wrote a pretty long post, but it's short π Maybe that's why, when I look back at the sketch from back then, I feel a bit of sadness in the lines.
Now, two months later, everything is better than before.
There have been a lot of things that have happened in the meantime, He is still undergoing treatment, but his energy has improved a lot.
I wanted to share a sketch of his brighter appearance π
When a dog becomes anemic, ears and gums turn white. I never knew about this before, but since he got this disease, I check his ears and gums every morning and night. His ears have become a lot pinker now.
If your dog is lethargic, please check this. If the ears and gums are white, it is anemia, and if they are yellow, it is jaundice and It is an emergency situation, so it is important to get to the hospital quickly. This happens suddenly, almost in a day or two. My dog ββdidn't eat anything wrong, and there were no ticks or parasites, but this just happened. The hospital is assuming it's a genetic factor. His mother also had a similar disease.(IMT)
He's been on steroids for a long time, so his fur has fallen out a lot. And I cut it short to check his condition well. The expression is more visible than when the fur was thick.very cute π He seems to be in a much better mood lately.
It's so important to me that his ears are pink π
January 1st is my dog's birthday.
I'm trying to think hard about what to get him for his birthday. (I used to always give him delicious food, but now his diet is restricted )
He will be 11 in a few days!

Yes, when I get better at drawing him, I want to create content about dogs. Right now, whenever I draw a picture, I feel like my drawing is differentπ! All curly-haired dogs are cute. I'm sure your dog would be lovely too.

I missed the first post about him, but I'm glad to know he is already doing better :) Usually drawings of dogs with curlier hair bother me because they don't look quite right, but I love yours! Thank you! He loved dolls when he was a baby, but after he turned 1, he lost interest in all kinds of toysπ I think a blanket would be a great idea! He really likes soft things π

I took so many pictures of Yallet and almost posted a thousand of him because they were all so cute to me but I had to restrain myself π

I heard that when there is inflammation, the dog's body temperature rises and it makes them suffer. In my case, it was summer, so I bought an air conditioner for yallet ππ - Thanks to that, people also stayed cool πΈπΈπΈ The cooling mat is a really great gift! In my case, I cut the fur myself. (I have grooming scissors, a comb, and a pet clipper. Scissors require experience, but if your dog has a gentle personality, may use the clippers at home. so I don't use a pet grooming, but I saw an information in the chatroom that recommended finding a place where someone can watch you when you get your dog groomed. - It's may dangerous if the bleeding doesn't stop depending on the medicine or condition.

I also didn't know much about the color difference for a few months, but after observing it for a long time, I think I know a little bit now. i'm so sorry for your loss. I just found out about her, but I can tell from this comment that she was happy for you - because she would have been at the beach and park in you?r love. This inspired me to think of another idea.He is immunocompromised and can't meet other dogs but he loves people, so I need to invite people for him π

I lost my doggo in November, and she was such a sweet baby! I love that your boy is getting better and feeling more lively, maybe you could take him to a beach or a park for his birthday! Then he could meet new friends and sniff new smells and be with his favourite person.

As for gifts, I recently got my PIMA pup a cooling mat because she had been running hot even now that it's a little cold because of the meds. But we haven't been able to find a place that can give her a groom yet (where she will be away from other dogs) so she's a bit fluffy. Mostly... π (except for the shaved parts, oy). If Yallet gets hot then maybe he'll like that? But since he has shorter fur then maybe a cozy sweater. Snowbie has a sensitive tummy so even though she can't eat too many things sometimes I give her teeny, tiny pieces of yummy food. Super, super tiny pieces like crumbs that I might sprinkle on her food. I think she appreciates the variety it adds, even if a little bit. Not sure if that is an option because of the dietary restrictions, though. She has been enjoying heated up, chopped green beans lately and those are tolerated well. π« I think she enjoys them more than I do π

Happy early 11th birthday, Yallet! That pink is looking good on you. π©· I am sooo happy Yallet is feeling better with his treatment. It shows in the drawings that he has more energy and is brighter which the differences in color can be hard to see in photographed pictures unless you're actually looking for the differences. This is informative and makes it easy to understand what to look for in case there may be an issue--IMHA, PIMA or otherwise--where an immediate visit to the vet could be lifesaving. Maybe someone's pet will be helped in the future because of the information here. You never know!
