I'm creating an icon for Crow. It's based on these two drawings I did a while back.

Crows are often associated with death, fear, and darkness in media. But I focused on the bird's vitality, intelligence, and sparkle, which are the keywords!
The icon will also be available in a dark version, but the main colors were created with a pastel feel that is easy on the eyes in mind.

I made a template that I'll use when creating icons in the future.
I probably should've made something like this a long time ago, lol.
The red line is where I modified the crow's head line. I originally drew it as a circle, but I made it slightly angular~
Have you ever seen photos of buttons, screws, beads, and other things collected by crows? I drew app icons with that in mind.
This time, I added a translation app. I wonder if you'll use it a lot. Personally, I use Dictionary/translation app a lot. If you're studying a foreign language, it would also be great to use it in related apps. The Chinese character 'ζ' represents the characters/writing.
I worked on each icon at 2000px.
The actual size of the icon is between 144px and 360px, so there's no need to draw it that large. However, I work on it at a larger size because OS updates may require the image size to change. (The required pixel size for Galaxy wallpapers often changes.)
I used to work at 500px, then 1000px, but now I'm sticking with 2000px. I might eventually go to 3000px. I prefer to work like this - draw the image so it fills the entire screen
There are 52 sketches, and I'll probably finish between 40 and 50. I've finished about 20 right now π At my pace, a new icon pack should be released in early September. The galaxy themes will take some time to review, but I hope to release them within September. Thank you!
