Deidre, please stop making your brother's face look Like That 😣 We don't really know anything about her (at least I don't) and I don't want to start making assumptions buuuuut I'm getting an immediate flashback to their mum saying how proud their dad would be of Denver for looking after all of them so well, AND he's picking up baby diapers that can only be for HER KID soooooooooo... maybe, just maybe, cut him some slack...? 🙄 (Also, looks like I was right about the sequence of events and why he's carrying his broken skateboard. This is before the talk with Tomás, but after the Benz. And the arm was before that. So he's going to lose his temper and leave without any groceries... OR! (I've just thought about it while I was typing) He'll get the groceries and drop them off at the house because of course none of it was for him and he's still the Goodest Boi)

Oh this *hurts*. That closed off, 'it's fine don't talk about it' facial expression, the 'house bills are coming up and even though we're the KIDS we're expected to pay' and we know that Niamh didn't want this life for her kiiiiiids it's relatable as hell but I wish it wasn't. Denver deserves a life without worrying about wether or not he's the reason they lose the house. I'm waxing poetic here, but I love the composition of this - it shows the difference in dynamics so incredibly well, between Daniel and Denver's home lives.
