The state of things
🕑 Added 2018-09-03 09:48:26 +0000 UTC Writing's going poorly. The words aren't coming as smoothly as they should be. I don't know what's the matter. Is it the weather? A minor illness? My mood? Patreon screwing up again? Whatever it is, I'm sure it'll pass soon enough. At least I hope so.Anyway, as a result, I'm not going to meet this week's deadline. At least not fully. I'm going to rewrite one full half of the body part, then when that's done, I'll push the results. I expect this to be somewhere near the end of the week. According to the planning, this should have been done already, but alas.
As with all the Ruby stuff, this segment is split into three parts depending on your charisma. Overall, you're still going to be getting a hefty, probably more than 15000 word update. Which I guess isn't too bad for a week's work, but I hoped to pump out so much more.
Anyway, after this first half of the body path is pushed, I'll see what I do next. Either a poll, or I'll just push straight on to finishing the body route before moving on to anything else.
Regardless, I think I'm going to wait a bit before adding my own stuff to Ruby. Part of my dip in performance might be due to needing a change in the things I'm writing, but that's just a theory. Again: we'll see how I'm feeling after this update.
As I've alluded to earlier, Patreon did a no-no again. Check your email. If you have a mail from Patreon, your monthly payment might have been declined. I'm just going to insert a screenshot of the mail they sent me on this topic, so I don't have to explain this mess myself.
We were close to the monthly character sheet goal, but due to the Patreon stuff, we are now pretty much back in July. A shame. I wanted to include the first character sheet poll with this post, but alas.
That's all for now. Update later this week. Maybe Friday, maybe during the weekend. Heck, early next week if I can't work my way out of this slump. I hope you'll like it, and I hope you'll think it was worth the week I spent on it.

If it's stress then rest for a bit, sometimes it can restrict how the mind thinks if you're focusing on one part. If that's the case then focus on something else once you had your rest, like a different story branch, that should get the creative juices flowing in your head. Don't push yourself just to release something on schedule, it often leads to a buggy mess and lost sleeping hours (Jesus Christ I sound like a concerned parent)

Take time to resolve the issue. Rushed games and writing tend to have more issues than a delayed one.

Have you tried sitting down with someone and having them ask questions about the story segment? That normally helps me when I have a block
