I think it's incredible how many people are willing to support me on something that is considered very niche. As an artist I've grown and I'd been able to dedicate immeasurable hours to brainstorming ideas, sketching, refining outlines, coloring, shading, animating, directing, editing, etc. Like, I don't want to sound like I'm whining, but I throw unreal hours into this and I hope it shows
However, after taxes and fees I'm left with a figure far below what's consider an average wage. With rising inflation, it gets harder every day and I don't have as many supporters as other well known artists
I'm aware I'm slow in comparison to most, but that's due to the hours that go into everything I do. My most recent biggest projects are the voiced animations that also combine extra work hours and funding talented voice actresses that are willing to make this content for you and for the niche. Out of everything, it feels this could of been what would help me reach real goals and continue to put my 1000% on everything, but there's one issue- Artwork leaking and sharing
Trust me when I say I do love sharing and love hearing what everyone has to say about the work (good and bad), but I don't consider myself stingy since I do post work outside on my socials, sometimes even on the same day of release. Maybe some are angry that I'm not posting everything out right away, but for the asking price of $5 you get instant access for less than what you'd spend for a combo meal at your local fast food joint. Is it too much to ask?
A bigger issue is the audio animations. Once they get leaked or posted, not only are you hurting me (I do have plans to post things later) you are also hurting the voice actresses without getting properly accredited. This could cause them to stop working with me and then everyone looses
I know someone is sharing my videos-
My final point with everything. Maybe it's too much to ask, but please hold yourself back from sharing content. It's alright to share a drawing or two, but what do you get from sharing all of my content? I think anyone can afford to buy me a cup of coffee. It doesn't have to be every month, just whenever you want
It's easy to see why some artists move on from niche art and go more main stream. Sometimes we have to choose to make a living when we see it's not worth the value we put into it.
I know there's many of you that value and respect my work and I deeply thank you for all the support you have given me. Also extra big thank you to those that support me on higher tiers and those that give more than the asking price. I will continue to do my best for as long as I can ❤️

Thanks love, I'm trying to make the best out of the worst kinds of situations. Of course support by my amazing patrons goes a long way. I really don't want to make massive changes, but Audio videos will probably get bumped up since they require the most output. For the most part I want everyone to have options on what sounds right for the support on each tier. It's totally fine and fair to go up or down on tiers at anytime! ;D

Exactly! I know I don't post like all alts.. like seriously some sets have over 20 files, but like sheesh if you really want to see everything some support would be appreciated ;P Thanks Anna! I really think so too. I feel I've been meeting art goals, but not money goals and with leaks happening, the least I can do is change it up and make it feasible to keep on going strong
It really is! I know several of us are. Sometimes even when you really don't want to a revamp is necessary. Like I said in the post, I do love sharing and wish I could work for free, but no way we can make a living or put in the time without being able to pay bills. We have to do what we must to continue on. Your work is 10/10 and I know a lot of people love it, likewise keep on kicking butt PB! Let's do our best!

I think when it comes to paywalls in this little niche of ours, yours is one of, if not the shortest around. Like you said, some things hardly can be considered paywalled at all. I totally understand if it's not financially viable for someone to support people on patreon, but with how little you hold things back just wait a couple god damn days, y'know? You make quality content. Some of the most top quality content around these days. What you ask isn't outrageous by any means. If people can afford that combo meal after its gone up with inflation, I think they can afford the same slight uptick for you as well. After all, your art is a tasty burger, and I'd certainly supersize it. =P

Well starting next month, I will up the amount I am contributing to a 100% markup from 5 to 10 dollars, and , once I get my raise, I will increase it further than that. Thanks for all the great art and yeah leakers are the absolute worst.
Times are just so tough right now. I feel like I'm in the same boat and also somewhat of a slow producer. I can only hope it all works out for us in the end T^T

Hey Blazy I’m a pretty new subscriber but I think the quality of your work is amazing… definitely don’t beat yourself up over the pace of your releases, they’re always worth the wait and more. I’m really sorry to hear about what you’re going through right now… times are definitely kinda tough these days. I think it SUX that some ingrate is leaking your premium content and I wish more could be done to crack down on that kind of thing. Anyway, hang in there as best you can, and keep being you and keep doing your thing 🙂

With inflation hitting hard, it's something I've been considering since I'm not necessarily close to goals for the hours I put in. The paid voiced projects are helping me gain more supporters, but with leaks going out, it's not helping I really don't want to because I know everyone is getting hit by inflation (not just me) but I might have to revisit the idea later on if it gets to that point. Thanks Q 🥰
That's how it always until the artists gets tired and moves on to draw or do something else 🙄 On the other side of the artwork there's a person trying to make a living. Hopefully some realize that sooner than later lol
Honestly, you should really consider upping your tiers. Like, no joke, folks, including myself, will absolutely be more than willing to pay for them. And those leaker(s) are coward(s), through and through. You're above and beyond, Blazy!

I never share content from Patreon and i get so angry when i see people posting it on pixiv or other sites and not crediting. Thank you for your work. It sucks that people don't want to support artists.
