Should I add Quick Time Events to the final boss battle?
🕑 Added 2023-10-19 20:01:05 +0000 UTCFinal boss battle with a giant enemy (sort of "Shadow of the Colossus meets God of War" from Playstation 2). But because it's a Visual Novel, I thought of doing a lineup of quick time events that will lead you to victory.
However...I'm also aware that many people hate "QTE". You can vote here.

If you consider this a "novel" then there definitely needs to be a climactic moment of protagonist vs. antagonist. Something we've been building toward the entire time.

I think that sounds really cool and makes for a better game experience for sure? But perhaps give the player a warning or the ability to disable it? Not sure how much hassle that would be on the back end
