GPU-driven particles
🕑 Added 2019-03-08 13:17:45 +0000 UTCTrickier to set trajectories, but performance-wise, it works much better than I expected! And we can even get particles colliding with track at almost no price. Here are some more videos:
- Same session during the day, with more details on collisions;
- Some sort of performance/benchmark test;
- And frozen frame, although itβs an older version without proper triggering on contact points.
One problem so far is that online, for remote cars, whole thing will be quite simplified, as there are no car-track collision events being sent (I still have a few bits left to squeeze at least a couple of flags regarding collision in though). Replays already work fine. π

This is just incredible, Ilja. You outdid yourself once again on this! I can't thank you enough for all the effort you put into this!
Amazing content as always!

Ooh. So nice! There are quite a few bumpy tracks in my usual track list. This will work extremely well for those. :D
