Hey, I'd make it work, first I deleted it my old Content Manager , go to user/appdata/local/actools. Must delete the whole actools folder. Next find the content manager executable folder as well,, kill it. Make sure you go and download the old content manager file, I found the one this guy is giving away does not have the script sol to work or at least is different and didn't work out for me, next get the sol 2.2.8 from Race Department, next keep csp 1.79 , ps make sure you follow the recipe of installing from the pdg file for sol. Stay with csp 1.79 full preview, is important to select from the weather options in CM: in weather FX : controller script2.5 (the one at the bottom) and Weather scrip: leave it at : sol 2.2.8. PS: I ended up with a terrible headache after this shit, best of luck. Regards.

I performed a manual install and had issues with Sol 2.2.2 controller not running. Re-installed Sol 2.2. Still no good. I reverted back to 1.79 and verified that Sol 2.2 was working. I then dragged and dropped light patch 1.8 (auto install) and now reporting at 1.8 shaders patch and Sol 2.2.x controller is running. I will continue testing.

The performance VR it's awesome, but the rain sound it's gone... all perfct except this! anyone with this problem?

When using the new UI, in the garage adjustment interface, the TOE adjustment sliders of the front and rear right wheels and the data display on the right side seem to be reversed. When the data shows a negative TOE, the outside viewing angle looks like the wheel is at an angle with a positive TOE.

The anticipation for the next update is high for sure, I know I feel it anyway, but I don't think we can reasonably view this as a regular producer/consumer transaction can we? Unless I'm misunderstanding things we're supporting Ilja doing things on his own terms, it says pretty much exactly that in the "Become a creator" panel on this page.

not all tracks have wet configs. try spa..... when in the car move the mouse to the right menu and click on rain debug to test

do not update windows. maybe it also works for you. Yesterday i did some WinUpdates and since then bluscreen of death. Or sometimes freeze only. After 8 Hours of installing deinstalling and everything in the middle and between. after 3 x win installing, i stoped AutoUpdate for Windows and no AutoInstall Drivers. And now i can run Assetto as long as i want

The paid version of content manager makes no difference. Sol makes no difference. You need CSP , custom shaders patch . The one you get on this page . This one , the paid version has rain in it. After ,,, you use sol weather app to set it or turn it on .

Anyone having trouble with the rain not showing up, make sure you manually install the update by dragging the files to your assetto corsa folder and update it again with content manager. Worked for me

I'm not sure that's true. I install my CSP updates through CM every time, and I have rain and weather working properly. Just be sure to select, "clean old configs and shaders first" from the dropdown.

Okay, here is how i fix the rain fx. First go to documents, change your Assetto Corsa folder name to _Assetto Corsa launch CM, let it create a new AC folder, install CSP to check rain(you dont have to) then close CM, delete the folder that you've created, rename the _AC to AC back, launch CM, go to settings>csp>delete patch and make a clean install of this preview. Let me know if it works out for you too

Guys, you need to manually install CSP via dragging the folders / files into the correct directory. Don't install CSP through Content Manager.

ok, working rain now. Not sure what was different when I reinstalled 0.1.179prev5 this time. Greyed out as jelly said it was supposed to, Rain FX active, and Sol Planner selected Rain (or whatever) works. Looks great, surprisingly noisy inside the car from the rain. :)

just come back to the game after a few months, and i founf Shutoko servers with day night cycle AND weatherFX AND heavy AI traffic...AMAZING!!, how the hell i'm running this on my potato is beyond me, whoop!! cruisin' time, and the AI acts alright man, you get the odd pop in but nothing game breaking, and on 'some' cars the wipers only throw the water around but...Genius work, hats off to all the people who have made this happen, wow

Ever since this update my VR mirroring is not working. I've tried using the CM mirroring, the default, changing around PPfilter stuff, etc. It's just a black screen on my main monitor.

@Happy, been using this for a few days now & absolutely no issues for me with any aspect of the update. Wipers for one are working great & greatly needed with the improvements to rain etc. Maybe the wiper issue is due to a specific setting in an obscure tab in CM, content/miscellaneous as an example... Anyway, keep up the awesome work @x4fab, my support remains & I look forward to the next update...

Is there a fix for Windshield Wipers? I know there is a Bug with Patreon CSP and the Wipers, but they worked at the beginning and now they dont ... settings are the same and i tried other buttons that also dont work. The Cars are also the same, Track is the same etc ...

I just updated and now cockpit view is bugged, every other camera angle works fine except the cockpit with steering wheel view, the screen is just frozen when I switch to it and unfrozen whenever I switch to another view

i installed this version use to work perfectly fine but now aim starting to get a pop up message soon as i get in the game it will lag for 5 seconds and a message will pop up saying "Direct input devices are not ready, input devices are still not finished initializing,whole physics part of assetto corsa might not be running correctly, This could be due to a faulty device driver getting stuck" ,Does anyone know what this means i have tried everything let me know thank you.

if you go to carrer mode it will most likely ask you to install a windows program or somethink like that. After you install it you can drag your csp download to CM and the 2 files at once message will not show again. I was having the same problem and luckly managed to solve it, hope I helped :)

Don't install the zip file with CM, just unzip and copy past the folder extension and file dwrite.dll in the rooth of your Assetto Corsa Folder. iT works for me ( make sure before in stalling to have the latest version of the CSP install )
