The longer this goes, the worse I feel and most importantly - I feel it's also going to be harder for me to actually get back into it if I delay it any longer.
I'll be honest - I don't necessarily feel ready because I can't shake the feeling my stuff still isn't good enough, even though I tried my hardest to improve during my hiatus. I didn't exactly sit on my ass. Made some improvement to the models (although I still want to keep as close as possible to the ingame ones no matter what), and I also worked on bettering my approach to animating, framing, that kind of stuff.
I just hope it will be good enough for you for now, at least until I can improve some more.
It's been a while though, and I might be a bit rusty. I'm going to start slow and small, probably gonna tackle some of the requests and suggestions first. I'm still working on the longer pieces and projects, that's not going to change. These will come out when I'm done with them, while I do smaller stuff to get myself back in the saddle.
I'm really sorry it took so long. I see some of you did stick around despite of it, and I can't begin to express how grateful I am for it.
Thank you so much, having your support - no matter what form it takes - is what keeps me motivated.
Now I have to make it up for you.
I should be able to put out a new piece within the next 2 weeks, and probably another one before September is over. I'm going to try to get back to my old pace of creating at least 2 pieces a month as I feel that should be the bare minimum to justify any kind of support from you.
Third time's gotta be the charm.
I'm going to try my damn best to make sure it is, this I can promise.

A month late with this comment but welcome back! Looking forward to any future Hitomi stuff in particular (I seem to recall a potential storyline with Zack that you mentioned a while back or maybe I imagined that?) Anyways, you do you and work on what you enjoy most. It's just good to see you return.

I know everyone is their own worst critic, but your stuff is definitely good enough! I consider it to be among the best, in fact! Looking forward to seeing what you do next, but please don't feel pressured. Do what you can, when you want to. :)

I wouldn't worry too much about it being underwhelming. I'd say a basic loop of yours is already better than 99% of others. I follow a lot of artists, but your attention to detail is genuinely rare to see. The canon proportions, the locations, lip sync and matching of pairs - not many would pay attention to such small details. No-one is the biggest critic besides ourself, but all I can say is not to worry too much about perfection and second guessing. We're subscribed to you already for a reason, and that's because of the quality of your works.

Glad to see you come back but take your time, I had to cancel my subscription unfortunately cause despite you pausing payments i did unfortunately get charged a couple of times when I had no money in my bank account resulting in overdrawing fees more than what I could afford of the subscription cause I didn’t realise there was no money in there, this is my own silly fault and once your got a foothold in that your comfortable with I’ll definitely renew it (ngl I never actually wanted to cancel it cause I was subscribed for a very very very long time). Take all the time you need and I hope things get better for you

Welcome back Legend. May I suggest that you should just post a link of all of the old stuff that is paywalled behind messages to bring back some of your old subs. Your new stuff whenever you're ready can remain message only like before when you start charging subs again, no need to rush when you feel you're not ready.

Personally, with where you are at the moment and still not quite over the hurdle, I would suggest just posting whatever you want - even if it was renders or wips, or even short 3sec loops. I just feel that trying to force yourself back because of guilty, or whatever it is you feel will lead you to backing yourself into a corner more. Let's say, you try to immediately work on longer animations or golden shots; you then question why you've not improved and the cycle begins anew. I would start small and slower and see how you go. Just my personal thoughts on it, but ultimately, it's up to you how you think it's best to go from here. Either way, wishing you the best and look forward to your future works.

Man, getting back on the saddle ain't easy, but your stuff was already among the best before the hiatus. Can't talk for everyone, but I am excited to see what you bring to the table now. I bet it will be fantastic!
