I'm slowly finding my pace again.
Not quite there yet, but the only way forward is up. If you're worried about my long form content, I'd like to reassure you. I'm going to finish my longer series and even start new ones, but for now I'm taking it slow because I need the practice after being out of it for so long.
It might not seem like it, but that stuff is actually hard, taxing and more than anything, very time consuming. Now that I think about it, that probably explains why so few creators do this. It's a lot for a single person. But I did it before, and I know I can do it again. However, that didn't happen over night, it took a very specific mindset and a lot of practice and dedication to get there and pull it off somewhat decently. I'm currently retracing my steps process wise, so to speak, to try and make it happen again. That means doing short, simple content at first and slowly work my way up. Even though the pieces are small, I'm trying to make up for it by pushing the envelope (stuff like the finer details, the setup etc) as much as I can with my current capabilities.
I'll try to push it a little notch further this month.
As long as I have your support and your feedback, I can keep going.

'different characters' ? I'm not sure what you mean. There was a WIP comic with Hitomi and Eliot but that one isn't ready for release.

Thank you. I'd like to stay close to the game models, but I'm also trying to give each character different body proportions and shapes.

i think you can have more support if you use more differrent doa model, always same model (kasumi,ayane,mai) is boring because this model have lot of content from other creator . your animation is perfect you need just change model on your old and recent work

Is it feasible to render extra angles with static cameras for the short loops? I've seen other creators do that to get more out of their shorts.

Don't beat yourself up too much about not pumping more stuff each month. Once you get the hang of making longer stuff, one animations that is 2-3 minute long released every 30-40 days, and 1-2 short animations a month is a steady pace, in my opinion. No need to push yourself for even more frequency, well, unless you decide to stick to just shorts for the month, I guess.

Unfortunately it's not an exact science, it depends a lot on the complexity of the scene, how many characters are involved, what kind of movement and physics I have to handle, and also how much IRL gets in the way (which can vary a lot from one month to the other). 10s loop could range from 2 days to a full week depending on these parameters. If I could do this full time it would be a different story, but for that I'd need a lot more support.

Considering the high quality I wonder how long it takes for you to render a short 10 second loop as opposed to your previous long minutes long work? I'm not a Blender guy but I appreciate the hustle and skills.

10-15 seconds is fine too reach any small/gold shot pending, I hope you can get back to the long stories soon, because your content is fuckin awesome.
