Also, the fact that she can't leave the house and garden makes the invasion of her only safe space and Balt's attitude toward it even worse. She has no agency!

"It's not a matter of how you /feel/ about it." Yeesh. Add that to the list of things you don't say to your partner. Even an "I need him to be able to come here, but I'll make sure he knows to be more respectful in the future" would have been better. And I can't imagine how bored Delilah has gotten being forbidden from leaving the property for a whole year!

Come on Balt, treat your lady better. Delilah wants to be free and on equal terms with him. He should be more understanding.
